My entry for the Victorinox competition 2017 with the theme Animals of the World. I was inspired by a tradional portuguese symbol:
this project is based on a portuguese traditional legend that goes like this: once upon a time there was a pilgrim passing by the town of Barcelos where a crime had been committed. The villagers accused the pilgrim who cried for his innocense over and over, untill he was taken to the judge, who was about to eat a roasted chicken when the pilgrim said: If Im innocent this chicken on your plate will rise and sing before I'm taken to the gallows. And so, the roasted chicken rouse and sang...the pilgrim's life was saved!
