truth be told, he was hoping that the person would just walk away and leave him to enjoy his coffee alone, however, it seems that this person seems to actually have some sort of business with him as she chose to speak— answering his taunt with a non-committal answer of her own.
of course, he was aware that there were a lot of people in the grandcypher, with many different backgrounds and reasons as to why they joined the crew of the singularity as he is one of them; however, there was no real reason for them to purposely seek him out… as he had, more or less, expressed that he was not here to make friends nor engage in idle chatter.
after all, he was merely here out of a sense of duty— to keep a promise. so far, the only thing he is interested in was ending lucilius’ legacy. sigh. it was probably for the best to just get this over with.
“ State your business. ” he demands, as if to assert that he isn’t afraid nor doesn’t have time for games— only to have his eyes widen in surprise as he finds that this person before him is a primal as well, a fallen angel.
One could say the fallen angel was also aboard the Grandcypher due to a sense of duty. A duty to her fellow fallen angels trapped in Pandemonium. She had a duty to them, to help them escape their eternal prison they were discarded into after their attempt to fight against the tyrants that were the Astrals. It was this sense of duty that kept her with the crew for the time being, to find a way to open the Gates of Pandemonium.
It was no shock that Sandalphon seemed surprised by Olivia’s presence now that he was fully aware of just who it was. She wondered just what exactly was going through his head right now, if he saw her as an enemy or not. If he would attack her or aid her.
“Surprised? I was too when I saw you were the new Supreme Primarch.” There was an edge of hate in her voice, maybe for Sandalphon, or maybe just for the name ‘Supreme Primarch’ after Lucifer tainted it for her. Perhaps Sandalphon would do the name more justice in her eyes than the previous had.
“So, where do you stand? Will you allow me to free the other fallen angels, or will you try to stop me like that loyal pup before you?” Olivia glared ever so slightly towards the angel, rubies filled with a wary, uneasy hate.
