“Hey.” S headed inside once Pearl had moved out of...

Pearl watched her walk, look around a bit, and then head for a seat, before realizing she was staring a bit. She composed herself and closed the door before joining her guest on the couch, sitting on the edge of her seat, a good distance from the other. She rests her hands on her knees to appear at least partially casual. 

“Ah, yes, heh, welcome to my...or rather all the crystal gems’ home. Well, all except a few newer recruits so to speak.” She watched the floor or walls around the other rather than looking directly at her. Her hands gripping each other a bit tighter as the other seemed to lightly observe the house. The others question, albeit simple, caught her a bit off guard as she was so focused on gauging the others reaction to thing around

“How am I doing? Ah, well, I suppose I’m doing just fine, thank you for asking. How about yourself? Oh, and was your ride over pleasant?”

S gives a final look to her phone before putting it in her pocket, heading out of the building and straight to her motorcycle. She gets on and puts on her gloves and helmet, taking a moment to make sure the helmet is going to stay on for the ride before starting up the motorcycle and heading off to the temple to spend some time with Pearl.

Once she spots the large statue in the distance, she speeds up until she sees the home where the Gems must stay, coming to a stop and hopping off, knocking the kickstand out so the motorcycle will stay upright. She pulls off her helmet and gloves, leaving them with the vehicle as she ran a hand through her hair, going over and heading up the stairs.

S gives a pause, before knocking on the door.

Pearl has been thrumming with excitement and slight anxiety since She had said she was going to come over today. Nothing in the house could be right enough. She had arranged and rearranged everything hundreds of times it felt. First it was too messy, then too clean. Pearl had been  trying to keep things neat, but casual, so it didn’t seem as though she cared as much as she had. Once the house looked orderly, but lived in she was finally satisfied. 

Then came the knock at the door, and suddenly nothing was right at all. She rushed around trying to figure what was wrong and what to do about it before she remembered Garnet telling her to breathe, stay calm. She took a moment to ground herself and breathe deeply. She managed to mostly relax and opened the door with a smile. The nerves returned quickly when she was met face to face with the lovely tall girl again. She fought the urge to blush.

“Oh, heh, hello! Uh, please, come in.” She held the door open for the other, motioning past herself to let the other enter.

That’s fine, I relate. I can’t really even remember what my first form was like. Change kind of makes you loose track of the old eventually. I’m sure whatever it was looked just as cool as your pink hair! Oh goodness, it’s late, shouldn’t you sleep soon? Not to try to push you or anything, it’s just my understanding humans require sleep.

Yes, I’ve not been around many people as of late and most humans around here have conventional hair colors so I never looked into any sort of false coloring. It’s very lovely though, and great to see humans expressing themselves with such vibrant colors, or dark, I would assume there’s also that option. What’s you’re natural hair color, if you don’t mind my asking? I’m just a bit curious c^:

Heh, I’d figure. Pink looks really nice on you though, so I guess it works out for you c^: 

Oh gosh... Well, I suppose I like blue quite a bit. Green is a very nice color too, but I’d have to say my second top favorite is likely yellow. You know, I must admit before meeting you, I didn’t know humans had a way to color their hair like that, it adds a lot of fun expressionism to humans.

Yes, you should be careful around them. They can be a bit...dangerous. 

Anyway, lighter topic, what’s your favorite color? I’ve heard that’s a good question to ask people, I’m not sure why though. It might be a little obvious too, or I could be wrong heh.

Heh, well, thank you. Though I must warn, not all gems are ‘amazing’. Homeworld gems are...probably the opposite of amazing.

I don’t think it’s that complex, but some people have trouble understanding when they first hear so I wanted to be sure. Heh, I wouldn’t quite say amazing, but thank you. I’m Pearl because, well, I’m a Pearl hehe.

Ah, I don’t mind at all!

Alright so, I’m a gem, which is sort of like an alien species to you I suppose, though I’ve been on Earth for a very long time. When a gems physical presented form, or basically our bodies, are severely damaged in some way, we retreat into our gems to heal. After we heal, our physical form comes back and we’re back and better, usually with a bit of a cosmetic change that’s usually pretty minor. I hope that makes sense o^:

It definitely looks lovely, and it really brings out your eyes. I don’t know if I’d ever have the patience for that sort of thing. I’d like to think I’m very patient, but over and over with such tiny details isn’t really for me, so I commend you. I suppose if I ever really wanted a sort of ‘makeup’ like appearance I could do it in my next reformation but that’s hopefully going to be a while haha c^:

Goodness, that would be a lot of fun sometime in the future! Another question! How do you get your makeup so nice? I’ve heard that type of eyeliner design is called wings I believe. Yours are so great and steady. It’s kind of impressive. Sorry, this is super silly, but your makeup is lovely.
