trick or treat?
Ray squeals, before handing Anon an entire bag of candy.
No longer a Lutual, sadly. My blogs are no longer apart of the Lutualverse. I have yet to adapt all my blogs, but I believe the bios and pinned posts are all fixed. I will not be deleting former Lutualverse interactions from my blogs, since that would take days. But these interactions are NOT canon anymore.
- Ray
[Several days have passed since the incident on the beach day. All this time, Sera couldn't calm herself down, restlessly thinking about Emily's outburst, about Shamira and Ass' speeches, about how dirty her own hands turned out to be and about the frightened faces the winners and Ray made.]
[Oh, Ray… Sera felt sick. She regretted allowing herself to publicly lash out at the hellborn and scaring the little exorcist. And she knew she must apologize. To Ray.. and to Emily. But compared to the deep chasm between her and Emily, the small crack between her and Ray could still be mended. It seems to be something that could be mended. So she decided to at least try.]
[The day before her visit, Sera asked Lute to deliver Ray a note. She didn't want it to be sudden and unexpected, because that might scare the exorcist again. So now she'd been nervously walking near the medbay's door for ten minutes already, waiting for the time on the clock to finally correspond to what she had indicated in her note. 57.. 58.. 59.. 60. Sera flapped her wings anxiously and knocked on the door quickly.]
@ask-sera
Ray anxiously fiddled with her skirt, tensing up as Sera knocked on the door. The medic glanced at a clock. Exactly on time. Seraphim were precise, she should've expected it.
Ray had hoped Sera wouldn't show up, but it seemed she did, and she couldn't get out of this conversation. She took a deep breath, getting up and opening the door.
The exorcist looked up at Sera, whom was obviously taller than her. She tried to steady her breathing, hoping to hide her anxiety. ... Greetings- She hesitated. Should she say Sera? -Your highness. Ray plastered a smile on her face, letting Sera enter the medbay.
[Sera looked away, hesitating, but quickly pulled herself together and walked inside. Sera sat on a chair so that the difference in height would not be so noticeable.]
Hello, Ray...
[She said.. and fell completely silent. What to say now? Just apologize? Would Ray find it too strange? They should probably talk about something else first. How about..]
..How was your day?
Ray glanced around the room, trying not to make eyecontact. Uhm, it was fine. Nothing really peculiar.
She cast her gaze to the floor. Come on, you can hold a conversation. It's just a seraph. Just a seraph.
How was your day?
Oh, I... It.. It was good, I suppose. I completed all of today's work before our meeting and left early. Hopefully Adina can handle the role of the High Seraphim for these few hours… Although I must say that I'm a little worried.
[Sera paused, collecting her thoughts, and then gave Ray a slight smile, trying to ease the tension between them.]
What about you, Ray? Do you still have things to do or patients to take care of?
Nothing I can't handle. The medic took a deep breath, before slowly looking at Sera's face. Ray hesitated to make eyecontact, squeezing her own hand as a way of steadying herself.
The second she made eyecontact, panic rose in her again, although she tried to keep her cool. Ray squeezed her hand tighter.
She couldn't help it, no matter how nice Sera was acting, all she could think of was the horrifying seraph that went batshit crazy on the beach.
Why did you- Her voice broke. Why did you want to see me?
[Sera noticed the fear on Ray's face and words and the smile slowly faded from her face. She looked away for a moment, then raised her hand and looked at it, opening the eye on her halo. It's still red.]
Sorry. I asked for a meeting to say that I'm sorry about what happened during the beach day, Ray. I never meant to scare or upset you. It's just.. I...
[Sera sighed, slowly lowering her hand. Apparently this was a bad idea.]
I.. should take my leave now.
Ray's gaze focused on Sera's hand, anxiously following it with her eyes. When Sera raised her hand, the exorcist nearly flinched. She caught herself, slightly embarrassed and hoping Sera didn't notice.
She hesitantly repeated Sera's words. You're... sorry? Ray focused on the seraph's expression again. Was this a trick, to gain her trust? Or was she genuine? The medic gave Sera the benefit of the doubt.
I believe you. Ray smiled faintly.
[Sera has already put her hand on the knob, preparing to leave the medbay. Seeing Ray tremble with every movement of her hands, she thought that there was no chance of reconciliation anymore, until...]
"I believe you."
[The High Seraphim slowly turned to Ray again, gazing at her in surprise.]
I.. thought you were afraid of me..?
Ray hesitated. ... I'm not afraid of you.
I'm afraid of the thing I saw at the beach. And I don't believe that... That thing was you. Her gaze focused on the floor, not sure if what she said was making sense.
The exorcist fiddled with her hands, trying to smile at Sera. I don't think you're a bad person. You just made a mistake. We all make those.

idk i think sera wants to talk to you
Ray sighs, before glaring at Anon. Do not speak for the high seraph. If Sera wishes to see me, she can tell me herself, and not send an Anon.
has sera said sorry to u
I haven't seen Sera yet. She's probably busy though.
why u lying grace is always mean to u
I'm not lying. Grace would never be mean. Ray's voice shakes slightly.
why is grace mean to u? ur wiki doesnt say
Grace? Mean? To me? She would never.
for the mod, what's your favourite qoute for Ray and the saddest qoute she said?
OOC: I can't say much without spoiling anything that lies ahead. So uh, spoilers ahead.
You're name is spelled wrong its supposed to be rae
And that's supposed to be 'your'. Sorry, I don't need spelling tips from someone who doesn't know the difference between you're and your.
