A Witch’s Table of Contents
One of the main things I try to strive for as a witch is to be a walking grimoire. I crave information and spreading of information, and that’s what my blog ended up being; a mass of information. I love receiving asks about the Craft, and if I don’t know the answer, I usually try finding the information on my blog, however, tumblr’s search system is whack. Have you ever gone to someone’s blog and searched “spell jar” and end up getting any posts that has the word “spell” in it? Well, it’s frustrating to deal with, SO, I made this ToC to make searching for information a whole lot easier, mainly for myself, but also for any followers!
This is in NO WAY done, I will be frequently be adding posts and more categories, this is just what I’ve got so far (I have a little over 2 years of blogged info I’m tagging). Anyways, enjoy!

My readings
I spend all year waiting for autumn and for Halloween, only for it to go by in the blink of an eye and come to such an abrupt end. Already I miss fall.

"I wash my hands of you"
A spell? Kind of? Not really sure what to call this. It has sigil vibes but not quite.
Basically, it's for when you're angry at someone/about something. You can't focus on other tasks because you're still fuming. This is to get the thoughts and feelings off your chest and wash them away so you can move on.
What you need:
Pen or marker (don't pick something labeled "permanent")
Your hand (or other easily washable body part)
Soap (you can even use specific scents that represent positive feelings for you)
Running water
What you do:
Write those angry thoughts on your hand/body part. Focus on your anger and visualize the writing as a physical manifestation of it. You're transferring those feelings from your heart to your skin. Thoughts flow out of you in the form of ink.
It could be in sentences like "I hate what [name] said to me," or it could be individual words like "cheated" or "unfair." Whatever works for you.
Wash your hands/the body part you wrote on. Completely wash all the writing away. Visualize the anger being washed away and your mind becoming clear of it. The washing might dry out your skin, so you can put some lotion on afterwards and visualize this as soothing, peaceful energy replacing the anger you just washed away.
Im convinced that making art, baking, listening to music/singing and dancing around your house are very naturally nourishing activities for your soul as well as human nature.

PLEASE teach your daughters that there is more to life than male attention.
as the dash moves back to normal, please don’t let this be the end of your activism. this wasn’t just a trend, these are real lives. continue to further your understanding, get educated, listen to black people, and be an active ally.

WITCHES NEED A SECRET SYMBOL FOR SAFE PLACES
So a lot of us are out of the broom closet so to speak, but many of have to be careful of being public because of the views of the communities we live in. What I propose is a symbol we can put on flyers or in shop windows that means “You’re safe here.”
I don’t believe that a pentagram would work because it’s got so much stigma attached and it’s really easily identifiable. Ideally, we can find something that is not tradition specific. I don’t know. I just want us to be able to put feelers out into the community without painting a target on ourselves for intolerant jerk faces, and I want witchlings that are seeking guidance to be able to do so in a safe environment. I mean, how badass would it be to find a little symbol of solidarity in your favorite coffee shop or bookstore??
Reblog with suggestions!
A witches’ foot. It has been used historically like this.
In one of the grimoires I’ve read through, it references this being a secret sign to mark on sacred spaces for the group.
Love it, passing it around. Will be wearing it and hanging it at my house and teashop once I own one.
