Juliette Embersong

Description: If one travels to the city of Goldglenn, one is likely to come across a humble tavern and inn along the road, where, along with good food and drink, one has a chance of meeting one of the friendliest and largest bards to walk the land. Juliette Embersong, or Julie to her friends, is a tiefling bard who, in addition to performing and raising the spirits of all kinds of folks who travel Goldglenn's roads, is also likely known for an appetite as ravenous as her songs are melodic. With a figure wider than a wagon, Juliette can be seen waddling the streets of towns and villages she visits, happily filling her pillowy gut with whatever food she can purchase from her musical earnings. Though this appetite can lead to some problems for her, with her hips brushing against, and sometimes getting stopped by the doorways of shops and taverns she tries to enter, though usually she can persuade some folks to help her out on squeezing through.
While she can usually be found at the humble Emberton Inn, working alongside its owner and her friend Matthias, Juliette occasionally waddles off to seek adventure beyond the wheatfields and forests she calls home. While she claims that she does this to find inspiration for her work, one can easily assume that rumors of fine cuisine can be just as motivating~

Description: owner of the humble Emberton Inn, and a former soldier of fortune seeking a more relaxed life, Matthias spends his time tackling a new battlefield: what recipes should he come up with for the night, and what spirits should he get from the market? Partly, if unintentionally so, responsible for Juliette’s new figure, she and Matthias struck a deal where if she performs at the inn, she can order as much food as she’d like. Not that he can complain though, especially when it makes her happy.
Liliana the Eternally Illustrious

Description: the self proclaimed mightiest sorceress to rule the mountains north of Goldglenn, Liliana earned her claim to fame from using her magic to unseat a troublesome bandit king, only to take his keep for herself. Now, when not feuding with other mages, Liliana spends her time living the lavish life of royalty, while occasionally sending her minions out to bring her more artifacts or items of value.
Sophia, the Amber Empress

Description: built by an ancient kingdom that once ruled the world below the surface, Sophia found herself suddenly gaining consciousness, along with the rest of her mechanical siblings, after the strange disappearance of their creators. After being elevated to the position of ruler of this new empire, Sophia spends much of her time mastering alchemical and arcane powers, though has had to recently split that time with being the diplomat for her people. Unfortunately for some of the underground architects, this has led to her figure growing larger and rounder from the mountains of gifts she has received from her diplomatic journeys.
Valeria, mercantile governess of Goldglenn

Description: one of the three elected rulers of Goldglenn, Valeria represents the business side of the city and its region, leaving behind her early years as an adventurer to mediate trade deals and ensure that the land is prosperous for all. This has led to her spending many nights in her quarters with mountains of paperwork, and plenty of food and drink to help her pass the time.
Lex, the people’s prince

Description: a humble and shy prince in a unique position, Lex finds himself as the face of Goldglenn’s rival, the island Commonwealth of Arina. Here he tends to spend most of his time speaking with the people of the islands and encouraging a more peaceful side of life. While a prince in name, it’s clear Lex has little interest in being a ruler, and would rather study the arts in the company of good friends.
Natasha, the Goldglenn Bulwark

Description: once a warrior respected and feared throughout the land, Natasha settled in Goldglenn and spent much of her time training new guards and heroes. This inevitably led to her being chosen as the guard captain for the city. What was not initially planned for by her was that this new job would lead to less fighting, and more dining and delegating. Now significantly bigger than she was before, Natasha spends much of her time in denial of her new size and continuing to try to train her guards. Though this tends to be more her guards tending to her and making sure their captain is well cared for.
