Chand Baori Step Well, 8th century

This site in Rajasthan featured in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES (2012), THE FALL (2006), BHOOL BHULAIYAA (2007) and BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL (2011).  The structure of Chand Baori was intended to conserve as much monsoon water as possible, given the arid climate.
