I spy with my little eye a fight that became a kiss. It looked a lot less than a lovers' quarrel and more like a lovers' resolve. Maybe this is the kind of action we need.

it’s exactly the action we needed, though not nearly enough to satiate any of our appetites for some drama. we’ll either be shipping them by the end of the week or rolling our eyes at the drama they bring. i do like a bit of drama though, so i’ll be keeping my eyes and ears open for more about these two since no one else is willing to follow their lead. 

sign me up for whatever the fuck that counts as. jasper and kit seem to be the only ones smooching, and frankly i am d i s a p p o i n t e d in all of you. if you’re reading this, go and make out with the next person who talks to you while i go and cry at being forever alone and fantasize about those two making up and making out.

i didn't realize how effective caden is. are there any others, including him, you think we should watch out for?

color me impressed honestly. i didn’t think he had it in him to really make any sort of impact. his powers are either going to be a blessing or a curse. i don’t know which one i’m rooting for more, but i am ready to sit back and watch the story unfold with him. zig is another to look out for. watch your back or he might be the one controlling you and your power without your permission. better to keep your wits about you ladies and gents.

definitely watch your back for asher. it’s the quiet ones who you’ve got to be careful about, right? probably dani too. i can’t imagine that boding over well when shit really hits the fan. there are people here that you can trust, and others that you can’t. maybe it’s time to form some alliances to really manage your own survival. here’s to hoping you choose well.

Thank goodness it was only a sandstorm. A lightning storm or worse might have casualties. I'm keeping my eyes on Jasper.

are we even sure he wasn’t the one to create the storm? he could be in on this whole thing and working with the officials around town. obviously, it was a great way to keep everyone in one place without them running out. wouldn’t be surprised if he’d done it on purpose to help them make it that way. 

jasper being in on it is certainly one hot take you could have. or you could use your senses and really dive into the theory of maybe they intended to off some of you, but maybe saw some value after people’s abilities went a little haywire with the whole scare. maybe that was their intention the whole time, to get to see the true nature of people’s powers once things started to derail. it’s only a matter of time before something worse happens i’m sure. keep your eyes and ears peeled. and if you see something, no matter what anybody says, don’t tell a soul.

why does it feel like they wanted the training to get out of hand?

interesting, perhaps you lot aren’t as doomed as you think you are. it feels that way probably because they lost control almost immediately of the situation and it fell into chaos quickly. or maybe because they wanted to see what everybody was going to bring to the table once things spiraled. it did bring out the true nature of some, didn’t it? but this place needed something exciting to happen too. 

i’m sorry, who actually thought putting a group of unexperienced mutants all in one room was a good idea? just the thought of having group training exercises makes me laugh. it’s surprising no one lost their shit past the point of no return. if the trainers were trying to get something out of it, i hope they found what they were looking for. as for me, it was fun watching everyone freak out over a little storm.

Bets on whether Kit burns the entire town down before anything good comes of it? I'm thinking he might lack the courage.

a betting pool wouldn’t be half bad he definitely has the mouth to talk, but will there actually be follow through. the biggest and baddest ones tend to disappoint before anything actually happens. kit’s more likely to set it on fire on accident and then say he did it on purpose. not sure if that really counts when choosing a side for the bet.

he probably lacks a whole lot of others things, but let’s not get into that just quite yet, shall we? i’m more interested in this whole training session he’s taking part in with jasper. come on now, who doesn’t smell a little hate fucking around ninguna? i’m not sure what the government expected? put a bunch of extremely good looking people from all over, combined with their powers that now grant them some extra tension, you’ve got a whole lot of feelings brewing. i wonder if there’s anyway caden can control that?

are there any underdogs you think might shine in time?

isn’t everyone an underdog at this point? no one’s shown their full ability since they don’t know what it is. caden might be the one to watch out for though. i don’t know how messing with people’s emotions is really going to help anyone get out of this situation, but i’m willing to be surprised if somehow it does. 

i’m almost willing to bet there are at least a few around here who will certainly prevail over their abilities once they face certain truths and eventually invoke their potential. asher has that whole darkness things going for him, which tells me he’s someone to look out for. jasper too, if he could just tether that emotional control and reign in the real power of the weather. with zigmund though, perhaps they could turn anybody into a real danger too. long live the underdog.

who would you consider to have the strongest power?

to tell you the truth, nobody. they all suck, and not because they aren’t wicked cool abilities, but because nobody knows how to fucking use them properly! i could see a few being super incredibly strong if they were taught properly how to use them. colson’s negative touch seems pretty damn powerful if you ask me. remi’s shapeshifting could be incredibly powerful if used correctly and she could probably get away with some real good shit too if she weren’t stuck here. india’s technopathy is really useful in a place like this...all things considered though.

only time will tell who the strongest is going to be because no one’s actually proved themselves in all of this. dani can’t even a basketball for crying out loud. khalil’s power might be the only one that can actually come in handy. when the summer heat starts to set in, we’re all going to want to be in a room with him. actually him and zig in a room could be like living in the tundra, so my vote’s on them.

kit and jasper were already fighting on day one...

yeah, yeah, yeah. look, let’s just say that’s not the only thing i want to see these two boys do. i mean, honest to god, when does this just turn into a lovers’ quarrel? because then we’ll actually have something juicy on our hands. otherwise...seems pretty tame to me. jasper can clearly put out kit’s fire any day of the week, but maybe not the one in his heart? that’s purely speculation for now, but if they can this hot and heavy this soon, who knows when they’ll take the next steps. otherwise, they’re just going to beat each other into a bloody pulp, and frankly, i don’t want either of their pretty faces to be messed up for life.

god, is that really all you want to see? i’d like some real action up in here. can jasper even hold his own in a fight without some storm happening? probably not. if this is really going to turn into some lovers’ quarrel, i need it to be over sooner rather than later. stop messing with everyone’s emotions and get to the point already. at least they’re giving us some entertainment since there’s nothing else going on. just wish it were a little more exciting.

it’s about time we got the party started, and it will not disappoint. v here to provide the juiciest bits of gossip ninguna parte has to offer. which has so far been very little. it’s a town full of newly turned mutants, something should be happening. actually, i heard some whisperings of an incident down at harrod’s the other night. an unruly patron giving off far too much information before theo could get him out of there. it was a little odd though, like a broken record repeating “northwest corner” as if it really meant something. wonder if anyone will be brave enough to check it out.

what my brainwashed sister is trying to say here might go over your heads a little bit, but she’s not completely wrong. there’s certainly a strange presence lingering over the town. oh, maybe you don’t feel it yet? but we certainly do. perhaps that patron was just too drunk for his own good, and you might hear a few people claim that he was just spewing nonsense, but really, who can you trust around here? i’m z, and you can always trust me. we want your gossip around town, we want your eyes and ears everywhere, and we want you to report whatever you suspect is happening, and maybe we’ll give you some of our wise insight.
