Oia - Santorini - Greece (by Yuren Ju)Â
The difference between promises and memories is that we break promises and memories break us.

âWhen we love, we always strive to become better than we are. When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better tooâ
.â Paulo Coelho
Loneliness does not come from having no people around, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to oneself.
Carl Jung (via purplebuddhaquotes)

One Last Word
First impressions are often an outcome of those first few words that we utter to someone but do we ever really think what our last words would or should be to that person?
Hello/Hi/Hey are some common words we say to our friends, family and loved ones but what about the goodbyes?
Lovers tend to say âLove youâ or âMiss youâ at the end of every conversation they have. Official meetings end at a note of âHave a nice day aheadâ. Casual meetings end at âsee you soon/Bye guysâ. Families meet and end their vacations at a note of âLetâs meet again soon/ take careâ.
But what about those who havenât spoken to each other for days/months/years? What if they never get to exchange those few last words? We often think about what we would say when we met those few people but what we never realize is time never waits for anyone. What if we never get to see them again and never really convey our feelings and end things at a good note. Â
Often fights, arguments, misunderstandings, unavoidable circumstances takes us miles apart from our loved ones and we never bother to take the first step and sort out our differences. We may never be back to the same âold usâ but taking that one step and getting back on cordial terms is important cause you never know when that one chance would turn into no chance.
We often remember our first meetings but what we will always cherish is the last glimpse and word we had. So always think what your last words should be and make sure to take that one little step and say what you feel before itâs too late.
Sometime its all about ME, not always but definitely âSOMETIMESâ
We are often judged by people all around us on a daily basis be it your family, friends, relatives, colleagues . Often we are tagged as selfish if we shelf our needs above others but what is wrong in that?
We fear of being potrayed as someone we are not and it stops us from being ourselves around people but what we fail to understand is hiding your thoughts and beliefs just to make others happy will damage your inner peace and self esteem in the long run. We will start losing our own identity with every emotion that we suppress.
What we need to do ?
Being all about "I, me & myself " is not right but being all about others all the time is even more wrong. We need to learn to let go of things and forgive ourselves without feeling ashamed of anything , after all everyone makes mistakes so why cant we? The day we can accept the fact that its no big deal to make a mistake , we can start walking on the road to rebuild ourself. We need to love ourselves in order to build that confidence that was missing for so long. People will love us only when we love ourself enough.
We need to trust our instincts which will help us to carry forward the confidence and achieve more.
Surviving alone is difficult but we shouldnt make it more difficult by losing ourself in the crowd.
Always live, love yourself, trust you gut , stand for what you believe in, dont hesitate to let go and fly high.
