█║┊✞ ❝ terrible ideas.
( I am the son and heir of nothing in particular @scxsaebyeol! )
HE KNEW HE was smashed out of his fucking mind, when even Saebyeol’s fantasies of drunken escapades sounded like a good idea, something plausible that he should pursue. Yet even with that warning lingering in the back of his head, Jaebum knocked his head back, swishing down another shot. The number of how many now swirled in the pits of his stomach had been lost ages ago. His intoxicated brain said it was in the hundreds now probably. Which explained why he had lost all his prior prickliness and was now draping himself over the film club leader, arms and legs loosely clutching her frame against his.
“Don’t tell anyone this, because I have a reputation to uphold, but I hate you less than everyone else. I can actually almost stand you. Isn’t that fucked up?” he admitted, with a series of chortles following. A hiccup escaped him, as he buried his face in her shoulder, eyes fluttering shut. It was difficult for him to open up, too difficult, so he settled for these rare moments, when his body lead the way. Though he craved physical affections (not just in the form of entangled limbs, but hand holding and soft pecks to cheeks), his iced over heart refused to allow anyone close, due to a secret fear of being left behind. If his parents didn’t like him, then why would anyone else? That’s why people knew of a different Im Jaebum when he had too much to drink. This was the closest to being his actual self as he got, but thankfully for his detached, sober self, people either forgot or brushed it off.
Though the girl muttering to herself took him out of his isolated thoughts, because for once, he found what someone was saying to be exponentially much more interesting than himself. Glazed over eyes peeked open, flicking over Saebyeol’s face, widening as a scattered plan was made fruition. His logic screamed at him, telling him not to listen. Abort, abort! But he had never been good at listening, whether it was to his parents, or even himself, apparently.
“Tattoos?” he slurred, tongue feeling too big for his mouth, as he took yet another shot. He had to be close to drinking a thousand by now. “Yeah, let’s fucking do it! Let’s go right now!”And with that, he stood up, wobbling in place, before tugging her off the couch with him. “Grab your coat, let’s go.”
