I think what originally drew me to tumblr years ago was salvation from loneliness and misery.  I’ve all but abandoned my tumblr until recently, and while I don’t feel miserable, feelings of deep sadness and loneliness have resurfaced. 

Coping with a death of someone close and having a fiance but no friends really wears on the soul.

thoughts on gilmore girls: a year in the life - the Richard Gilmore story arch was beautifully done. I cried when Lorelai called Emily with the story of her 13th birthday - I could not stand the Musical. It was clearly a way to kill time - The nostalgia value alone was fierce. It was wonderful to see everyone together again, and it seemed like the cast felt the same - It was awkward at first, but they found their footing and felt like I was watching episodes from the original series - the last four words were clever but evil because it’s just enough to leave me wanting so much more but knowing it’s over for good now - some of those montages were weird (even by my standards) - Why not just have the Secret Bar indoors? - I am so proud of Emily Gilmore. I never thought I’d say that given how she treats her daughter, but finding herself by leaving the DAR, moving to Nantucket, and getting a job at the museum made me very happy for her. - We were not robbed of seeing Lorelai and Luke get married!!!!
