A dangerous life is trouble,
A danger to everyone.
A timid life remains untested,
A life barely lived.
Better to live slightly dangerously
A life remembered for its dance
With the devil on the edge of reason.

Here’s some simple advice: always be yourself. Never take yourself too seriously. And beware of advice from experts, pigs, and members of Parliament. ~Kermit the Frog.
Despite what humans say, I am not fat but rather I have 'big fur' & 'short legs' syndromes. Although, I do so enjoy dinner time. And lunch. And breakfast. Afternoon tea. Mmmm. ~Audrey
There's an old army saying: 'Anyone who volunteers is either a fool or they've misunderstood the question'. So what does that make me? ~Laurence Hirst
Life would have been a lot easier if I had never known about it. However once you reach that degree of enlightenment about what is actually happening, I suppose it becomes the original 'agony and the ecstasy'. The ecstasy is being able to help. The agony is to witness the suffering and be aware of it. ~Dr Howard Ralph www.southerncrosswildlifecare.org.au
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it may be necessary from time to time to give a stupid or misinformed beholder a black eye. ~Miss Piggy.
Life is not always easy; but if you're really passionate about something, people are attracted to your energy and will come and help you achieve that goal. It always amazes me. ~Meredith Rasdall
I meet inspirational and exceptional people. Their resilience, strength and courage are amazing. I have established wonderful friendships and people open their heart and families to me. Some of these people will be friends for life. They have enriched me. ~Cathy Butler
Our faces will become works of art that our grandchildren will treasure.” ~ Adriana Trigiani
Being under the ocean is like exploring a completely different world, yet it is the same world that we are all so dependent upon. The oceans are our lungs. ~Silke Stuckenbrock Two Hands Project
A couple of years ago I never anticipated how much I'd contribute towards improving the natural environment in my community through volunteer activities. ~Anthony Petrolo
The props have to made with cardboard because it's safer and then there are all the costumes to organise. Luckily they're too young to be wearing makeup as they'd spend most of their time in front of the mirror! They're still young enough to just worry about their lines or when they have to come off stage. ~Lynda Sawler
For me taking action is the most rewarding thing you can do. There are ordinary people all over the planet getting out there and doing something to make a difference every day. Everyone taking action makes a difference that has a huge impact. All those efforts combine to make a cleaner, better environment. ~Dave Thomas. http://www.ecodivers.org.au
I mean, we couldn't complain about the Sydney 2000 Olympics, could we? There were so many volunteers and they all did such a good job. Wasn't it lovely? ~Hannalore
In Western countries people are stressed, angry and tense. I want to say it's good to tell a friend or other people your troubles so they can give ideas to help you. Sometimes when you are working in a shop people come and in and if they can't find what they want they get angry. I feel like I have to give them reiki at times like this. ~Tashi Dorjee
I think if people can do some form of art, it's very therapeutic. I used to say to my students, for the next two or three hours you will not think about the bills, the fight you had with your husband before you left home, the children, or what you have to prepare for dinner. You will just paint and lose yourself in art. ~Lorrie Morgan
I’ve made a lot of sausage sandwiches. Someone said to me 12 years ago when my son first started playing football, we could really use someone to look after the sub juniors and I said: “Oh, all right!” I really didn’t know the journey I was about to embark on. ~Dilys Graham - The Soccer Mum.
