Apropos of (almost) nothing: I'm the kind of pedant who dislikes calling tentacle porn "tentacle porn" not because I think it's aberrant but because, 98% of the time, what's being depicted are octoform arms or tendrils, not tentacles. Tentacles are defined by the clubbed ends, which are the only part that have suckers. If it's tapered and has suckers all the way down, it's an octoform arm; if it has no suckers at all, it's a tendril.

Okay so dnd is obviously the most played game among my audience, but I'm curious how far away from that people get

I have only played DnD 5e

I have only played various editions of DnD

I have only played fantasy d20 systems

I have only played d20 systems

I have only played fantasy systems

I have played systems that were neither fantasy nor d20

I have played some really obscure shit and feel like I deserve my own response

I haven't actually played dnd, but I have played other systems

I have yet to play a TTRPG

The thing that pisses me off the most is that even if covid WAS over, disabled people still fucking exist and deserve to participate in things. The brief period of time in which everyone was doing virtual and hybrid events, people could work from home, social events were actually accessible...all it did was show that we could be doing these things, and just don't fucking care.

Hybrid events should be the STANDARD. Including people who can't leave their houses should be the STANDARD. Some basic fucking consideration for the disabled should be the STANDARD.

And it's just. Not.
