WHAT ARE THOSE UNICORN LIKE SHADOWS DOING IN THE CLOUD SCENE TAYLOR?!?!?!?! @taylorswift @taylornation
Also you are serving major Lemon Breeland looks in the first scene. Like Honestly this first scene is the french version of Lemon and George Tucker @taylorswift
Sooooo @taylorswift does this mean album out June 7th????
ALSO already super obsessed with ME! and this entire era!!!!!
ALSO IF YOU HAVE A NEW CAT WE NEED PICTURES OKAY
So to continue with the coke theme, I made this bulletin board for february!
I am super excited about it! I love coke, and I knew I wanted to make a board about getting over the winter blues and this idea came to me! It was the perfect way to incorporate the coca cola polar bears into the theme!
I am so excited about this month’s theme! I am a coke addict, as in the soda, and I was really excited to make these mini glittery coke cans for everyone! TO make them I bought red and white glitter paper from Hobby Lobby (where else lol) and cut out little cans from the red. I used the white to make the letters for the name and the coke logo swish. I then used silver paint to make the aluminum tops and bottoms of the can!
For my january door decs I went with these simple gift tags! My theme was about throwing kindness around like confetti so i thought these fit perfect with the theme! I just got simple dotted gift tags from Hobby Lobby and then I used a gold sharpie to hand-letter them!
For my January bulletin board I decided to use this cute quote “Throw Kindness around like Confetti” that I saw on pinterest. To create the glittery words I found a pretty font online and typed the words and then made them backwards, I then used that as a guide and freehanded the script on the back of glitter paper and metallic paper and then cut them out! I made the confetti by using dollar store metallic paper and cutting little squares out of them!
I may be just a little excited about @taylorswift ‘s new album coming out. Maybe. Just slightly. Okay so its kinda started to affect my job but hey, is there anything more adorable than these precious little reputation inspired mini newspaper door decs? Cause I'm thinking not! Also the hand lettering on the bulletin board took me a couple hours that I probably should’ve spent doing my heat and thermo homework but oh well!
Since we are all stressed about exams I thought a bible verse about trusting in the Lord and not being anxious would be appropriate! (Side note, I just love how this little inspiration wall is growing!)
The door decs for this month were cute little owls with hogwart’s letters attached. These were so fun but time consuming to make, but I absolutely loved how they turned out!
For October’s Hall theme I went with Harry Potter (bc I am a major nerd). I wanted the board for this month to include study tips to help out with the anxiety that midterms caused and I thought this would be cute!
Also to go with the theme of giving I made my inspiration wall poster and used the bible verse Micah 6:8.
To match my giving tree themed bulletin board I made these cute sparkly apple door decs from an apple banner kit I found in Target’s dollar section. All I did was use the premade apple cut outs and pinned on the leaf stems and then used black puffy paint to write the names of my residents on them.
This is my September bulletin board. It is themed after Shel Silverstein’s book The Giving Tree. It contains all the different active volunteer groups on each campus and gives people ways to get involved
In our lounge area we have this table that was kinda old and worn out, so to go along with my art theme I covered it with the black and white floral vinyl tablecloth and set out markers so that the residents could color it in. It was a cute, simple passive program!
My residence hall is a little unique. It’s a Christian living community so to tie in that aspect I found a cute illustration of the bible verse Ephesians 2:10 on pinterest and then I painted it on a piece of poster board and then made a frame for it out of free paint chips from walmart. As the year progresses, I hope to make a new poster with a bible verse for each theme. I think it is a great way to make a boring wall standout a bit and it is the first thing people see when they walk into our dorm so it might as well be bright and uplifting!
So my first bulletin board was also art themed so I made a cute little easel with a pun, and I made a painters palette that shows what different colors mean. I then put up some beginning of the year info.
