Omg 😂 I just had a conversation with a friend about how cool Danny looks with the combination of bright hair and dark eyebrows and then he sent me this 🤣 1 - Danny’s hair matched to his eyebrows; 2 - eyebrows (and eyes? Viking AU hehe) matched to his hair; 3 - Ariel-Danny in tribute to his promise to dye hair red or pink if Voyager wins ESC. You know what? He looks gorgeous in any colour. Well… Maybe… not blue or grass green... PS: Ash and Alex 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Finally the most direct answer to the Existential Question “How a centaur could bigspoon someone” 😁 I'm not sure how tall Danny is, he looks like he's about ~185cm. The height of a horse is usually measured at the withers, but the centaur has a waist at the withers, so with 185cm we would get a huge creature. However, Toyota MR2 is ~123cm high, and in the one of the previous drawings we can see that Danny's stomach is at the level of its roof. As a centaur, he may have a narrower equine part, because some of his internal organs are in a human torso. Based on these assumptions, his height at the withers can be about 150-155cm, like an average Arabian horse, plus half of his human height: ~150 + ~90 = ~240cm. Alex, who plays the role of the second test subject, according to himself, is 180 cm (although he also looks ~185).

Well, after a deep theoretical studies and some field researches the answer was finally found… in a way. 😆 “How a centaur can bigspoon someone”, part I, I suppose.

Answering to already received questions in advance. How tall is Danny? He is about 240cm (some details in the next post). What breed is he? Well, he is not a horse, but his lower part looks like a cross between a Mecklenburger, a Friesian and an Arab, which ultimately could give us an Orlov trotter. How fast is he? 20-60 km/h, till 88 km/h sprint. Can he drive? He could definitely drive a Hammer and hypothetically could also remove a row of seats in MR2 and lay there on his stomach (the lower one), but he needs to think about the seat belts. Is Simone a sphinx? Yes, kind of, we couldn’t decide between a phoenix and kitsune, so now she has both feathers and fox paws. Why does Scott look like a little pink mermaid? This is canon, all questions to the creators of "Submarine". Why doesn’t Ash have suction cups? He does, but he rolls his tentacles into tubes when he’s out of the water to avoid dirt or sticking to something/someone (it can leave bruises). Why Alex is covered with leaves? We also had a fight about the appearance of his character, proggers voted for dryad (thanks to SW) and metalheads for another centaur, so the prog side won and Alex is the new Steven (btw for me musically too).

I was too lazy to draw centaur metalhead Mikael, but then Danny suddenly approved that he wouldn’t mind to play this role instead… So instead of Gavin octopus mermaid we have Ash, the cutest drummer ever with his sophisticated drum set ☺️ Long black hair + long black tentacles = the perfect match! Also as a beer admirer he could use his cool “legs” to keep the bottles cold 🤣 

And now we have to think about fantasy versions of Simone and Alex, because according to “Submarine” Scott is officially a classical mermaid with the sparkling purple tail 🧜🏻‍♀️
