I know some people who are annoyed at how ‘fragile’ Persephone is because she constantly needs to be saved, she doesn’t stand up for herself, and she cries all the time.
Persephone is not being ‘saved’, she’s being helped and she’s not useless.
Persephone is in a new place and her powers are still developing. Of course people are going to need to teach her the ways of Olympus and the Underworld! In reality, when someone starts a new job, they are instructed from someone higher up to show them the ropes. Artemis (who is on very thin ice right now may I add), Eros, Hera, and Hades are trying to help her figure things out. They are trying to help her and, yes, sometimes she needs to be protected. Her powers are still growing and she’s not as powerful as her fellow gods just yet. These individuals are all well aware that Persephone can protect herself. They know just how brave she is. They are just want to make sure she’s not going through everything alone. Also, Persephone is not useless just because she ‘hasn’t saved anyone’. She may or may not have the ability to help someone physically just yet, but we have seen her help people emotionally many times. Look at Hades, he has suffered for hundreds of years because of his childhood trauma, information that he has trusted Persephone with. She is helping him just by being someone to talk to. She is saving people with her kindness. (We have seen her literally kill a person, so she does potentially have the ability to harm someone, she just prefers not to.)
Persephone absolutely has stood up for herself!

I’m sorry, did we all not read the episode where Persephone fucking DESTORYED Apollo. Why are some of you annoyed that she hasn’t done more? He is black mailing her with her naked pictures, there really is isin’t much she can do. Everytime she does something to make him mad, she knows what she’s doing. She knows she’s on thin ice with him and she’s doing the best she can. Nothing is more brave than Persephone angering her black mailing rapist.

She is angry, confused, and sad. Everyone goes through trauma differently. In her case, she cries. Hades has seen her cry so much, but he also has heard her admit so much to him. She has cried so much in front of him in the most recent chapters when she talks about her past or when she is reminded of something bad that happened to her. He try’s to calm her down, but doesn’t tell her to stop crying. He understands that she’s going through things and crying is how she is going to deal with it.
PERSEPHONE IS NOT WEAK!!! SHE IS TRYING HER BEST AND THE PEOPLE CLOSEST TO HER DON’T WANT HER TO GO THROUGH IT ALL ALONE!!!
I just wanted to add, if you have a different opinion, unless you believe that Persephone is weak of course, I will agree with you. This entire thing is worded VERY poorly. Any thoughts you have that prove Persephone is a strong character... you’re correct!
