Zeno definitely calls Gideon a “damn lizard” if he isn’t getting anywhere with him or if Gideon is being annoying or getting on his nerves. Victor has heard it so much that he just chuckles when he hears it.

Gideon also 100% loves to stick his forked tongue out at Zeno for no reason.

I think that Gideon is a lot more patient than Zeno, behind the scenes Zeno is calculated, but he has a bad habit of making quick decisions and replying to Gideon or others in a quick or snappy way. His mind is moving faster than the rate at which things are happening, which makes him more susceptible to this. Gideon on the other hand has that snake-like tendency to be patient. Painfully patient. Snakes can sit and wait for prey to come across their path then strike. So Gideon always tends to know what to say to simmer Zeno down, and is also the one who can handle all of Zeno’s snappy responses and words.

So to sum it up it’s like hare and tortoise here. Zeno is quick, Victor is slower. They tend to even each other out.
