just wanted to say that it's crazy that this blog has almost 200 followers despite me just only getting past the opening - thank you! adulting(tm) and also kind of stepping away from fandom/tumblr kind of got in the way of continuing but i'm kind of itching to replay viii again. i got to disc 3 in the remaster when it dropped but never fully finished it (because again, adulting. ew!)

i just wanted to give an update and let everyone know i haven’t forgotten this blog! i’m in my last year of school and i’m talking four major classes so things are pretty hectic and haven’t really had time to be on here.

also, i was playing viii on my old dell laptop (because my primary laptop is a macbook) and it finally kicked the bucket. i do have some options though! i could install bootcamp on my old macbook pro or buy my brother’s friend’s gaming laptop once he gets a new one since he’s going to sell it pretty cheaply. but yeah, that’s mostly it! i had reached timber the last time i played so once winter break comes, i’ll still at least be able to write on some stuff. stay well everyone! <3

Back again! Let’s continue where we left off. After the dance, Quistis comes by to give Squall her ‘last’ order which is to meant her at the secret area. This entire exchange is...awkward and uncomfortable to put it bluntly. It’s weird that it never really made me feel this way in the past (possibly my age at the time) considering even Squall points out the fact that Quistis is Squall’s instructor (and also coworker now considering he just became a SeeD).

This scene becomes even more awkward when you see who is actually at the secret area: couples.
