India’s Jet Airways taps Robin Kamark as nominee director of Etihad

BENGALURU: Struggling carrier Jet Airways Ltd said on Monday it has appointed Robin Kamark as nominee director of stakeholder Etihad Airways PJSC with effect from December 1.

Kamark, who has spent 17 years at Scandinavian Airlines System, will replace Harsh Mohan as nominee director, Jet said in a statement. Jet Airways is 24 per cent owned by Etihad Airways.

‘Rebel Star’ Ambareesh passes away in Bengaluru | Kannada Movie News

BENGALURU: Kannada actor and politician M H Ambareesh, popularly known as ‘Rebel Star’ and ‘Mandyada Gandu’ in Sandalwood, died on Saturday night at a private hospital in Bengaluru following lung and kidney infection. He was 66. He is survived by wife Sumalatha and son Abhishek.

Ambareesh was a former Union minister as well as a minister in the Karnataka government.
