And itâs okay for you to be hurt but not for me? Iâve come to learn that you apparently need to be forced to feel happy and safe for once - so, if youâll excuse me, Iâve got some things to pack and move.

Feeling him lean back against her, she smirked, but it was his question that made her laugh. âBetter,â she said with a nod. âI thought I told you not to worry about my eating habits.â There was a soft little hum that came from her as an arm came around to hold him to her. âHave you eaten?â
âI thought I told you I would always worry.â He said, turning away to glance ahead of them. He thought about her question. Ezra wasnât hungry, but that wasnât the question and he recognized that and knew with her, he wouldnât get away with it. âI think so. I honestly canât remember.â
âSoâŠ.. ?â
âSoooo, it doesnât mean as much. Duh.â
âWhy not? What would happen, I get sent to hell?â She snorted, letting out a little laugh. He whined an awful lot, it seemed to be the one consistent sound that came out of him. Not that she was complaining, she was growing accustomed to it. She did her best to remain gentle with him and her grip remained loose, only taking from him just enough to take the edge off of her hunger. And then maybe just a little bit more. Running her tongue along the little pinpricks, she did her best to clean up any of the blood that may have gotten away from her before pressing her lips against the side of his neck.
âMaybe.â Ezra didnât complain or anything, even when he began to feel even the slightest bit lightheaded. That was probably his own fault. The kiss signified the end to her feeding and he leaned back against her, head turning to look at her, eyes glancing over her features. âBetter, or did you need more?â He asked, trying to gauge some form of reaction from her.
Well apparently not. Reaâs expecting you, Iâm sure sheâs read the note by now.
I knew itâd be weird. Thatâs why Iâve avoided you. This is weird. I donât like this. Please stop.
Fine. Then none of us are. Donât be silly. Youâre not doing well right now and you might as well take a few nights to relax.
Iâll relax in my cell. Besides, you and I can be under the same roof.

I know. Iâve been strategically avoiding you. Hence the no sleep, I havenât been to my cell or loitering around Reaganâs.
âI havenât slept in three days. I should be tired, right?â
âFabulous. I hope youâre okay with that.â
âItâs just me, so.â
âI swear to all things holy that you would be the only person indecisive about where I stick my teeth.â With her hand still wrapped around his wrist, she twisted him, turning him so his back was pressed to her chest. Letting loose his wrist, her fingers trailed up his arms to catch the collar of his shirt, tugging it aside, her lips trailed over the curve where his neck met his shoulder. There was a little laugh that came, something tiny just before she sank her teeth into flesh.
âShould you really be swearing to holy things?â He mused, but didnât fight her grip. He tilted his head slightly to the side to give her a bit more room. Â He flinched a little when her teeth broke skin, and he whined softly before quieting down and allowing her to feed.
âAs far as youâre aware? You donât even know?â
âUhh, nope. Not really.â
âArenât you?â Canting her head, she smirked and curled her fingers around his wrist, pulling him closer to her still. Her lips brushed over the line of his jaw, teeth scraped. âWhere?â
âEhh, depends.â He didnât resist her pull and he hummed quietly. âWherever is tastiest to you, doesnât make a difference to me.âÂ
