Fault line: a crack, a fault fracture.

At a time when more people are connected to each other than ever before, there is a growing feeling of isolation and insecurity among many individuals. Technology provide border-less communication among the people but it becomes obsolete when it doesn't fill the gap in human relationships. Urbanized cities set a benchmark for higher standard of living and the competitiveness lead some to take the desperate measure – being astray/ homeless. Often by themselves, they have no one to talk to.

Faultlines is an audio installation with digital flip book focusing on the stories, lost hopes and dreams of the homeless in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. (2013)

An audio visual performance performed in real time which consist of shadow drama, live visuals & audio mixing and interactive dance. The performance is about the stages of grieving over a relationship break up.

Obscured is a conceptual realistic installation art focusing on child abuse. Users enter the installation space, a young girl's room, with certain arrangements of items on the bedside table. Curious users might possibly pick up any one if the items, triggering the projector placed above the bed to project image mapping that suggest movements on the bed and the sounds from a man and a young girl that suggests she is being abused. Users experience a story-based interaction without actually seeing what is happening, but the movements and sounds that could paint the image in their heads. Chapters of the stories varies between different items, ranging from physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, and even child neglect.
