Seeing people praise FE for how the safety car was used while I still feel like throwing up thinking of how close the cars were to the forklift trying to remove the car from the track. That should never have even been a safety car, it should've been an immediate red flag without question. It's not a gotcha "that's how you use a safety car F1" moment, it literally endangered those drivers and comprised their safety, it was beyond reckless and unsafe. The most important thing is that no one was harmed but that's a miracle in and of itself.
It's not the first time FIA has endangered its drivers in the past year. Off the top of my head, Baku should've been red flagged far quicker than it was (the angriest I have ever heard Charles be on the radio & he was absolutely justified), how Jeddah was handled was absolutely ridiculous & the drivers should never have been sent out for qualifying in Spa (every driver raised concerns about the conditions and Seb literally called for a red flag mere moments before Lando's crash. Again the most important thing is that Lando was ok but it's a crash that FIA should never have allowed to happen when the drivers are literally on the radio saying that they don't think conditions are safe enough to be out on the track. Again it's nothing short of a miracle that more weren't harmed). I could go on and on.
If you don't see the problem here & are just using the incident as some sort of f-u to F1 "See that's how you use a safety car" moment, I genuinely don't know what to politely tell you because all I want to do is tell you to go fuck yourself. Maybe go sort out your tunnel vision too.
formula e really said “not only do we have regulations that make sense but we also follow those regulations” and i think that’s so sexy of them
yeah, i guess...
hey wow look fe can manage to end a race under safety car!
i am not at liberty to explain this
So, back in December 2021 FIA had already announced the intention of implementing mandatory vaccination for all F1 personnel ahead of the 2022 season.
What has come out now is that F1 will not grant any exemptions for vaccination requirements, especially after the Djokovic fiasco.
Bottom line is: you want to travel with the circus? You gotta be vaccinated. If you have some kind of exemption requirement, you're staying home.

F1 2021 but make it without Mercedes and Red Bull
So I got bored and decided to take advantage of my love for spreadsheets and take a look at 2021 without the two fastest teams. Enjoy!
PSA: I didn't include fastest laps because that would be a headache and a half. Sorry.
the Jake Dennis agenda is real but you should all also consider falling desperately in love with my most handsome and brilliant son, Edo
