(Venti is sitting at Wangshu in, whine on the balcony besides him as he leans over, wind bellowing in his hair)
(venti's braid comes undone, the other is extremely loose/messy. His expression folds to disappointment at the broken elastic in his hand)
Venti: Ah, dear not again (you can tell in his expression that his voice is soft, not outgoing optimistic as per usual)
(Cyan and black tainted name particles can be seen in the corner)
Xiao: Do you know how to fix it?
(Venti perks up, sensing his presence but not expecting his company)
Venti: Brave Adeptus, you should be resting in a calm night like this!
(he's cheerful again, that public mask is back)
Xiao: You didn't answer my question, Lord Barbatos
(he approaches to the balcony a little ways behind venti)
Venti: Venti (he corrects), we are friends are we not? such formalities are unnecessary.
Xiao: Friends... I suppose, yes. (Eyes looking to the side move back to at venti) Still, you avoid my quire. Can you not braid?
Venti: No (his grin turns softer, as if greatful) the children on monstad usually do my hair in return for a hymnal, though the know is play for them for free
(during this you can see klee on bennett lap, watching as he braids venti's hair, razor on the other side, attempting to braid, and only creating a mess)
Xiao: ...I know how to braid. My... sisters taught me. Would you... like my assistance?
(the hydro and other yaksha come into view, the pyro teaching him how to braid the hydros hair as she calms her sister from being too harsh to young xiao)
(venti's eyes widen, before he smiles once more)
Venti: I would greatly appreciate it. as to reciprocate, how about a tune?
(venti cross legged with his lyre and xiao standing behind him quietly braiding his hair as they sit on the grass and watch the moon in the sky to venti's soft words.)
