Have you ever submitted a prompt to a fic fest that never got a fill, but you are really obsessed with the idea and still want it written? Or have you found yourself submitting the same prompt to multiple fic fests, just in the hopes it gets claimed for once? Are you a fic writer that's claimed a prompt, wrote half of it, then missed the deadline and couldn't properly finish the work? Or perhaps you claimed a prompt and never got around to writing the fic for it at all, but you're still enamoured with the idea?
Then this is the Fic Fest for you! We're a kinkmeme style collection were you can submit prompts from other fests you'd love to see written or a prompt you've claimed that didn't get finished in time but you still feel inspired by! There's no deadline, no theme, and no need to come up with new material for your prompt.
The Fest will begin on Friday, August 28th and open at 12am UTC and the AO3 Collection can be found here.

All media is welcome, as long as you can figure out how to submit it on AO3.
Multiple Claims are allowed on prompts.
No word limit! No minimum or maximum, and multi-chapter fics are welcomed with enthusiasm!

I don't know if anyone plans to do this, but I want to quickly say while a prompt may say driver you are free to make them about anyone in F1! Engineers, team principals, PR agents, anything you can think of.

We at WIM Summer Fest want to reiterate the importance of archive locking our fics.
After recent posts from Ferrari sponsors, we find it more important than ever to keep drivers and team personnel OUT of fandom spaces and they are not welcome here in this festival.
As WIM - especially minors - have consistently less coverage and media information it is easier for them to come across fanfiction of themselves even on something as simple as a google search. Please do your due diligence and archive lock your fanfics to keep them from being seen.

You may submit up to 10
Do I have to keep prompts anonymous?No, you can choose to not submit a (semi-)anonymous prompt by unticking the checkbox at the end of the Prompt Form.
What type of prompts are allowed?
Prompts must be focused on whumpy/angsty scenarios, preferably written in a way that they can be used for any driver/set of drivers.Ā
What type of angst is allowed?
The angst level can be something as simple as a driver being sick and missing a race, to something as intense as cannibalism and anything in between!
Can I submit my works anonymously?
Yes!
Is there a limit to how many works I can submit?
No! Write and create to your heart's content - as long as you keep the deadlines in mind.
