sooo i am writing fic and kind of cataloguing lestat's relationship with gabriella throughout tvl. i got the gist of it initially, but laying it out like this is especially heartbreaking

after gabi has sex with lestat in ep1, he asks for boundaries with her

gabi has sex with jarda to punish lestat

gabi leaves and ignores lestat. lestat begins having flashbacks of gabi having sex with jarda

lestat then recalls his first night with gabi—when she said "i love you"

gabi returns, with the motive to get lestat to do the concert

lestat calls gabi a terrible mother, then kisses her and asks if she needs him

the video leaks, lestat has a panic attack

louis asks if he thought lestat would "get away with" hiding that sofia was gabi

and then we get his realization in the finale, during the long table, that gabi is "a monster"
