Montresor & Will | Casual

Considering how much Monty likes to pick fights, hatred is his comfort zone, and I wonder if it's possible that he's constantly lashing out at Will because Will doesn't hate him, even though he has every reason to. Monty just doesn't understand why anyone can stay with him even after seeing the worst in him, seeing him weak and broken.

Damn, Montresor tried to kill Will, and yet Will is still here, wagging his dog's tail. Montresor is probably struggling to see the catch, he knows he can't count on Will after everything that's happened-he definitely did his best to push Will away.

But fear and confusion lead to a loss of control over the situation. Anger is safer and more familiar. This is a scenario that Montresor is used to and can work with.

It's just that Will doesn't fit into this scenario.

I've been thinking: willtresor where they meet at the park because they walk their dogs at the same time every day.

I think Will would also be a dog person and I also think his dog/his family's dog should be MASSIVE. Monty already has that cute little creature from chapter 119.

Imagine their dogs pulling a Pongo and Perdita from 101 Dalmatians on them, you know that one scene where they tangle their humans with the leashes. I think it would be so cute but also Will might die on the spot being suddenly fully pressed against his park crush.
