another thing people messaging me complaining dont understand about grades hindering academic pursuits is … if you no longer hold people back for low grades, or drop them from programs, but instead allow them to take a class until they 100% understand the material … you’ve created more competent students… 

you no longer have to pass people through at a mediocre understanding just so they can finish the program… you can instill a rigorous understanding because theres no penalty for being slow.
