I use to talk a lot with my friends about how much we’ve changed, comparing ourselves with “the old us” when we were 17 or 18 (I’m now 23). Not that I am the most mature or wise person in the world, but being far away from your country (which includes family, boyfriend and friends) really gives you some experience in certain ways.
