I know you know this but
Witchcraft is not a substitute for conventional mental and medical treatments. It’s a supplement. An anti-anxiety spell does not replace medication or therapy. A crystal won’t heal your illness. It will help, but you cannot bypass scientifically supported treatment in favor of magic and expect it to work.
I love to walk outside, nature is wonderful, and I love the feeling of the wind and the mild temperature I currently have in my city.
But nature hates me. You know what comes with nice weather and pretty plants? Mosquitoes and allergies. My two worst enemies.
My cousin gave me her finished Becca Vanilla Quartz highlighter compact! I don’t know I’m going to do with it, and if anyone has any suggestions I’d appreciate them.
I hate those blog with super tiny text that my blind ass has to blow up 10 times the size just to read it. Also bad color schemes that are hard to read, like black background and grey text. If anyone ever has trouble reading something on my blog tell me, please.
How do I practice my craft as a new secret witch? I'm incredibly shy and I've only spoke to one person about it (a internet friend who's also a witch) I'm really curious and I really want to practice

Hahahahahah. I’m laughing but this hits close to home.
Fun thing happened today.
Today I tried a yoga. I watched a 35 minute video that’s apart of a 30 day challenge and I felt good? Like really good?
I guess I never really understood what people meant when they say they get a ton of joy from excising, because most of my experiences involving sports aren’t what you’d call you enjoyable. Probably because I have an intense fear of things flying at my face. Yeah... probably that.
Anyway, the reason I did this is because it’s my goal to be able to touch my toes by the end of the summer. I’ve never been flexible, and combine that with my short arms and hands I’ve never really been able to touch my toes, but I will. I will fucking touch my toes like nobodies goddamn business!
Anyway, today was my first day of the 30 day challenge. I’ll update this blog about my opinions on it. I’m really excited to do it tomorrow.
I know I should be making original content, writing, and all that jazz. BUUUUT... have you seen how cute that cat photo is?
i don’t have the healthiest coping methods but i haven’t killed myself yet so where’s my fucking medal
Hey Witchblr, let’s take a minute to ground ourselves
Close your eyes and take a deep breath.
If you can, create a relaxing environment for yourself. Light a candle, shift position, stretch, get in some pajamas, set yourself up to relax.
Feel your energy pool with each exhale. Let it graze the surface of your skin. Let it accumulate.
Feel the ground beneath you. Where are you? Are you sitting with your legs crossed on a grassy hill? Are you stretched out in an armchair? Are you lying in bed? Are you on a train or in a car?
Wherever you are, beneath the floor is soil. There are roots clinging to the earth, there are plants finding peace and solace beneath the ground. Picture a plant you love sprouting in the very place you sit. Is it a flower? An herb? A tree?
Take another deep breath, keep going, feel the air in your lungs.
You are surrounded by the atmosphere. A whole bunch of gases are protecting you from anything spooky that might be out in space. You are safe here. You are safe.
Remember that wherever you are, you are on the Earth. You are a part of the world. Life thrives above, beneath, and all around you. You are alive.
You are here, wherever you are. You are not in any imminent danger. Maybe you’re not okay right now, maybe you don’t feel relaxed and safe, but you are alive. Despite everything, you exist, you are here with everybody else.
Everything will be okay.
Take a few more deep breaths.
Keep going until you feel a bit better. Go get a glass of cold water, if you can. Try to grab a snack if you’re hungry. Take a shower, even. Whatever you need to do to take care of yourself.
I hope you feel at least a little better. Have a lovely day, fellow magical people.
I’m back from Japan, and wanted to draw something based on the neighborhood I was staying in in Tokyo… I definitely will have to return sometime!
