I wanna post OC art but nobody here knows the lore so I'm gonna make a couple loredump posts. This first one will be about the deities of this world.
Before the universe, there was nothing. After an indeterminate amount of time, a being was born out of the nothing, one whom I've decided to call God.
She didn't know much, being the first thing to exist. Eventually she discovered she could create things and began to play around. After a while, she grew bored, and decided she would try to create another being to help her create something new.
My boyfriend named this guy Jacob, so that's what I'm going to call him. He was God's first sentient creation. God wasn't very good at making living beings, so Jacob doesn't have any sanity. After his creation, he immediately tore through the fabric of the empty void, which began the universe. God was fine with this, since it looked pretty. After a very long time, though, she got bored again. Looking at her mistake of Jacob's sanity, she used that to figure out how to make something more good at thinking.
This guy doesn't have a name yet. God created him for the same purpose as Jacob; to make something new and different. He picked a planet in a relatively inactive area of the universe for his experiment. He started off with small self-replicating creatures, and then built up to a larger sea creature that resembled him. After setting everything up, he let the creatures evolve on their own. God was very entertained by these things, and due to their evolving nature they could keep her attention for as long as was needed. But, as they began to get smarter, their instinct to reproduce diminished. God noticed this, and knew they would die out before they understood that they needed to reproduce to stay alive, so she created a being that would help them along and make sure they kept living.
This is an old reference image for Lust, her design has changed slightly since I drew this. Lust's job is to get people to fuck so they don't die. She has mind manipulation abilities which help with this. She could get anyone to feel lustful but she only really does it when she knows they want it. She doesn't like doing it without consent.
And that's about all the lore for the god characters for now.
