Yesterday I had the opportunity to host “Queere Auszeit” at Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck for the first time.
With an almost fully booked group, we first explored the museum together before moving to our workshop space, the Arp Lab, for creative introductions and hands on making.
For me, it becomes clear again and again how important it is to establish safer spaces for queer people visibly and naturally within cultural institutions. Cultural spaces can become places where belonging, expression, and diversity are actively experienced. That is exactly what “Queere Auszeit” is about.
A big thank you to all participants for your openness, your ideas, and your trust. You made this workshop a real success.
The next session will take place on June 13 from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.
Had my first scientific publication 😭🫶🏻
