Some Introductions

I realize that I don't have a proper intro (or just a main post to help you get around in general.. 💀) Since I've gotten a few new fellow moots on here, you should probably get to know me a little bit at least 😛

☆This post is also prone to edits since it will be pinned for the foreseeable future lol☆

First and foremost, my name is Ken!

(You may also call me Soup 🍜😛)

I am an artist dabbling in a few different things like virtual photography, traditional/digital drawings, and storytelling in general. I write sometimes, but not usually. I love all three of the primary colors and love to play video games. I play a lot of different ones but my main is bg3 right now. I have little guys in my head that have existed since I was 4 years old, and now I have a place (and the bravery) to tell a bit of their story! I have a few different side blogs to keep everything organized (for the most part), and they will be tagged here ⬇️⬇️⬇️

I also post a shit-ton of my screenshots from all my past games on @bg3-sheetposting (though not very often it is truly the archive)

The Need to Defy Nature

Basically, it's a mirror of this post...

I see the way your face lights up at the sound of your name on her lips.

I can sense the chemistry between you two even when I didn't want to notice.

Normally I wouldn't mind, but this is different.

Why did it have to be her?

The one who tortured me, wanting me dead, wanting to destroy the grove.

The one whose only ambition is to find enough power to keep them 'safe' and yet making themselves a target in the process.

It's idiotic and I could never understand.

You would never truly be safe with her.

So why?

Why share your kindness with someone like this?

Someone like her?

As selfish as she is,

I don't truly blame her after all.

I mean, it's you.

The guiding light, our savior, our leader.

I cannot blame her for wanting you.

The tension that filled the air was thicker than any fog. The Shadowfell gives off a low hum, thinking that taking the wrong step could result in devastation for everyone as it crumbles. The whole place feels like the anticipation of something happening and yet not knowing how it will end. Uneasiness pools in Tav's stomach, wanting nothing but to cup itself into the back of Tav's throat and choke them out from the inside.

Shadowheart isn't better off, there is a fear in her eyes akin to seeing a ghost, but also a conviction that stunned Tav. Shadowheart knew she needed to do this. She knew that this was her deciding moment, her ultimate test of fate. But Tav saw something else under all of that. Tav saw the conflict brewing in Shadowhearts mind, wanting nothing more than to be of any help to it. But deep down she knew that this is something that Shadowheart needs to decide for herself; No one else. So, Tav decides to only ask one question.

"Are you sure this is what you want?"

Shadowheart pauses for a moment, really considering Tav's words before quickly shaking her head.

"O-Of course! I know what I need to do I can't go back now.." Shadowheart bites her lip as she finally turns to look the aasimar in the eyes.

The aasimar can see Shadowheart's hesitation just as plainly as Tav. They both subconsciously understand the weight of Shadowheart's decision. The ball is now in her court, and it's up to her what she does with it.

Tav fully puts her trust in Shadowheart right now.

The conversation goes by in a blur for Tav. With the weightlessness of the Shadowfell and the pain in her back somehow still not going away, Tav couldn't really focus. Before she could Even form a thought beyond what was going on, Shadowheart throws the spear down into the infinite depths of the Shadowfell, leaving everyone stunned.

The mixture of panic

Followed by relief

All of them stand for a moment just flabbergasted that Shadowheart actually defied Shar, not knowing what is going to happen next...

Tav knows one thing for certain. The key to Ketheric Thorm's demise has conveniently slipped from it's lock. And now, we finally have a chance to kill him.
