thinking about sex work and i’m furious.

Furious because once again, men get to decide what women want, what women need and what women must do with their lives and bodies.

Furious bc when sex workers are trafficking victims instead of being protected and given a shelter, they are violently pushed around and talked to like they are criminals, sometimes even harassed by the ones who are supposedly saving them.

Furious because some people refuse to accept that sex work can be a choice, a celebration of the body and a liberating experience.

Furious because sex work can be just a neutral job. Nothing more or less than manual (or other kinds of) labour.
