Sora is the Knight of Air, having been given his title a bit before the others, alongside Hana. Despite his cold demeanor and slight temper, heâs actually a bit of a shy boy with a love for small animals and a passion for cooking. When he has free time, heâs most often in Hanaâs dadâs cafe, helping out with the food prep (he...doesnât do much in the customer interaction part, as you can probably guess).
In the past, Sora was a victim of neglect and abuse, his parents alternating between yelling and throwing things at him, or ignoring his existence entirely. He had closed himself off from the world due to this, but thanks to a certain blonde and her family, he was able to escape from that life and that shell, and now lives with them. Heâs grateful to all of them, yes, but Hanaâs still the most important one to him, and he still feels like he can never repay her for all sheâs done for him.
As the Knight of Air, Sora wields a scythe, but overall is purely a magic specialist. He can gather the power of the wind and lighting to strike enemies down, and also has incredibly potent healing magic. Both in and out of battle, he can also use this magic to create strong updrafts that can lift things and people up into the air.
Hana is the Knight of Earth, being given the title a while before most of the others. Her father runs a small, homey cafe, while her mother is a famous private detective. Hana is often seen helping out her parents at either workplace, though she most commonly goes to aid her mother in her detective work, wishing to follow in her footsteps. With both this, her Knight work, and her reputation as an honors student at her school, she has a lot on her plate.
Despite her reputation, though, Hana is actually quite easygoing, is extremely passionate about her future career as a detective, and actually a bit of a prankster. She pulls practical jokes to make people laugh, especially if she knows theyâre having a down day. Sora is the most important person in her life, and sheâs incredibly in-tune with his emotions, so she always knows when he needs a pick-me-up.
As the Knight of Earth, Hana wields a spear and shield, and plays the role of a tank. Her magic involves summoning both plants and chunks of ground to form shields, attack, or counter. As a result, she tends to be at the very lead during battle, defending her less-defensive allies from enemy fire.
Biando is the Knight of Fire, and childhood friends with Vivian. Compared to his more active and sports-inclined companion, Biando prefers the arts. Specifically, painting. A few of his works are already up around the school, works of abstract formations that seem to tell a story, despite being just colors and shapes. There are some more personal, though, that he allows not just anyone to see.
Biando is calm, collected, but also lighthearted and cheerful. Despite being one of the youngest students in the school, heâs known to offer wise advice when need be, to friends and strangers alike. Heâs all too aware of Vivianâs huge infatuation for Clair, and supports the other through it all.
As the Knight of Fire, Biando uses gauntlets, and plays the role of a glass cannon. Using his magic and his punches, he can dish out heavy amounts of damage, but is helpless when it comes to defense. He tends to hang around in the back of the group, rushing forward to deal damage when needed, then going back to where he isnât likely to be ganged up on.
Vivian is the Knight of Water, and is childhood friends with Biando. Sheâs known around their school for being one of the best in regards to any sport: soccer, tennis, swimming, etc. If it involves her being active and moving around, sheâs at least a little good at it. Unknown to most, though, is that Vivian actually writes original short stories in her spare time, though she keeps them all in a secret journal, away from othersâ eyes.
Vivian is energetic, and mostly participates in sports and such to burn off all of her excess energy. Once sheâs set on something, sheâs incredibly stubborn about seeing it through to the end. Vivian has had a huge crush on Clair for a while now, and is constantly trying to impress her in any way possible.
As the Knight of Water, Vivian uses a whip sword, and plays both an attack and support role. Her attacks, both physical and magical, are able to hit multiple targets at a time; with her magic, sheâs able to buff her allies and debuff her enemies. Sheâs also the one who tends to move the quickest and strike first, out of everyone.

Finally got the fic up and running, so The Killer Rink has officially started! The basic summary can be found on the bottom of the âseriesâ page, and it includes a character list. Bios will go up for each character as I have time to make them!

oh and here is the official rp/ask/story blog for TKR.
Sofia is the lead singer of SpellBound, as well as the general leader of the group itself when it comes to band stuff. Sheâs a calm, gentle person, with a deep passion for singing and performing.
When not practicing, performing, or doing missions, Sofiaâs favorite things to do are go to anywhere with animals. Zoos, shelters, dog parks, anything along those lines. As long as it has animals, sheâll be happy to be there...though admittedly, she has a soft spot for going to stores that sell cute dresses.
(Itâs partly because she likes getting ones for Morgaina, but she wonât admit it.)
Her love for animals stems from her shapeshifting ability. As long as Sofiaâs seen the animal either in real life or in a full-body picture, she can turn into it. It takes a lot of magical energy, though, so she saves it for when sheâs transformed-when normal, she tends to only sprout ears, a tail, or whatever the animal has.
Because of her power, and her general love for animals, Sofia goes by âFaunaâ when transformed.
Nuance is the Knight of Shadow, Clairâs twin brother, and a budding pianist. He studies under a piano builder and player who runs a small shop near their house. Nuance attends all of the lessons he possibly can, always wanting to improve on his playing skills. Heâs even worked on composing some of his own pieces before.
As opposed to his peppy, energetic sister, Nuance is more calm and actually somewhat timid. He isnât afraid to approach people, but heâs somewhat easily startled and can take a bit to open up to others. Heâs a loyal friend once you get close to him, though, thatâs for sure.
As the Knight of Shadow, Nuance tends to play the âoffensive stealthâ card. Though he does a pair of sharp daggers and abilities that allow direct attacks, his biggest thing is manipulating both his shadow and that of the enemy, for use as distractions and/or sneak attacks.
Vanora is a member of the Spasitel Order, a northern-based organization which takes requests from other large powers all over the world. Originally, she lived on a small island a bit away from the continent the organization is located at, in a small village on top of a mountain.
Vanora is energetic, optimistic, and somewhat childish. She tries to see the good in everyone, which, though it means she can be somewhat gullible, also means that she can easily get along with a stranger (if theyâre willing and able to endure her boundless energy).
Casey is the most important person in her life. Sheâs constantly doting over her and complimenting her, and puts her safety first when it comes to something dangerous. And whenever she goes to a new area for a task, the first thing she does is look around for the place with the best and most unique dishes; not for her, no, because Casey loves that sort of thing!
i began writing this abooouttt 2 or so weeks ago? and a friend (the awesome @xnovatoniic) drew art for it sooo hereâs both!
(also this is pre-game so yea)
The fact that the first person I saw when I woke up was Hana wasnât an odd thing. Since we shared a room, we often saw each other pretty soon after waking.
What I was NOT used to seeing, though, was her being right in my face.
âUh...Hana?â
She grinned, obviously excited about...something. âSora, did you forget what day it is?â
Now that I was getting more awake, I was able to think on her words. The date...the date...December 25thâŠ
âAh.â
Of course. Christmas.
âGet dressed, then get downstairs!â Hana, apparently, was already dressed, wearing a red and green dress with a fancy pattern. She got off the bed and left, likely heading downstairs to allow me to get ready myself.
I knew why she was excited, but I couldnât understand the feeling itself. My birth parents only celebrated Christmas with friends of theirs, never with me. The best theyâd give me is a few bucks to go buy some cheap gift for myself.
Itâs not like they really cared about what I liked, anyway.
The outfit I put one was more simple than Hanaâs, being only a green shirt with a tie and dark green pants.
Now, time for the other part of Hanaâs demand.
When I reached the bottom of the stairs and looked into the living room, I was quite surprised. Decorations were all over the place, from a wreath to ribbons to the large christmas tree in the center of the room. Akito and Osamu were sitting on a couch nearby, while Hana was sitting on the floor closer to the tree.
The second she saw me, that grin from earlier returned. âOver here!â
Though I was still very confused, I did as she said to, walking over and sitting on the floor next to her.
âSo...what exactly is all of this?â
âWell,â Osamu chuckled sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck. âConsidering your past, we all figured you...werenât used to Christmas traditions. So we decided to ramp up our normal activities to make it special for you.â
âI still think you went overboard.â Akito sighed. âHonestly, you made so many cookies.â
âWhat? I can sell leftovers!â
âMom, Dad, enough stalling!â Hana shuffled closer to the tree, grabbed a stack of four presents, then moved back over to me. âHere, these are for you. Oh, but open the one on top last!â
...this felt like a dream. Something in me was saying that at any point, Iâd wake up to be in my old house, with my birth parents, on a Christmas that would be barely celebrated.
But that small voice was squashed when I felt Hana take my hand and give it a small squeeze, as if she could tell what I was thinking.
I breathed in, out, then reached towards the first gift.
Inside was a large cookbook, obviously full of recipes of all kinds.
Osamu smiled. âThatâs from me. Feel free to test them out whenever you want.â He chuckled. âIf theyâre good enough, I might add them to the menu!â
I decided that I would flip through it later, then opened the next one. It was another book- this time, it seemed to be about birds.
âThat one is mine.â Akito was the one to speak this time. âI know you like birds, so when I saw this, I knew it was perfect.â
She wasnât wrong. Birds fascinated me, no matter what kind they were.
The third gift, obviously Hanaâs, was very different from the other two. It was a coat, with black on the rims and a grey and white checker pattern.
âI saw that and knew itâd fit you perfectly!â She grinned. âAnd I can always make small adjustments if itâs too big or too small.â
Now, they all looked to me, obviously waiting for me to open the final gift.
âWhy exactlyâŠ?â
âItâs from all three of us.â Akito smiled. âI...think youâll be happy to see this.â
I was confused, but nonetheless picked up the present. It seemed to be in a flat box, and opening it revealed a piece of paper with some complicated words on it.
My eyes skimmed it, catching a few words.
Official...court...custodyâŠ
Wait.
âIs...i-is thisâŠâ
Osamu gently smiled. âYes. We have custody over you now.â
âIt took a good bit of work, and a lot of time talking to your birth parents.â Akito sighed. âI was worried it wouldnât be officiated until after Christmas...but it was.â
Hana grinned. âYouâre stuck with us now!â
So casual, butâŠ
My vision began to get blurry, and I felt something wet build up in my eyes and roll down my face.
All I could feel at first with relief.
This was it.
I never had to see my birth parents again. I was with Hana, Akito, and Osamu now.
Following this was an overwhelming happiness.
âT-Thank you...thank you s-so muchâŠ!â
Hana held my hand even tighter, and her other arm moved to wrap around me in an embrace, which I quickly returned. Akito and Osamu had gotten up as well, the former stand over us with a smile and the latter leaning down and placing a hand on my back.
Once I managed to calm down, Hana rummaged through her pockets and pulled out a camera. âThis is special, so before anything else, we gotta take a picture!â
It was snowing out, so we decided to head outside for the photo. I quickly put on the coat Hana had given me, and followed the three outside.
The snow was gently falling, and though it was early in the morning, many other people were outside, mostly children who were playing around in the snow.
Akito took the camera from Hana, who immediately ran back over to me, moving to wrap her arm slightly around mine and grab my hand again. âJust the two of us first.â
âAlright.â I could tell that I was smiling. It was wider than I ever thought would have been possible.
But this was real. I was here, with people who genuinely cared for me, with a silly grin on my face.
Morgaina, as her full name implies, is the descendant of the legendary sorcerer Morgan Le Fay. Sheâs also the lead guitarist for the band SpellBound. She really looks up to her ancestor, and strives to be as powerful as she was.
Despite not being SpellBoundâs leader band-wise, Morgaina tends to be the leader when it comes to magical missions and combat. Sheâs headstrong and easily takes charge, but can get a good bit overconfident at times.
Morgaina is gifted with the power of telekinesis. She can make almost everything float, from objects to other people and even herself. However, the heavier an object is, the more energy she uses up by carrying it.
Due to her ancestry, as well as the title she tends to give herself, Morgaina takes up the codename âSorceressâ when transformed.
Kogo is a tarot mage, and a member of the magically-gifted Shicksal family. Sheâs innocent, thrives on helping others, and is easily surprised. She has a natural understanding of magical creatures, and can communicate with most, including her own card spirits. Kogo can often be found holding small conversations with them, even though others canât really hear them. She truly considers them more like family than servants.
Kogo looks up to all of the other members of her family, but mostly to her mother, Sibylle. Despite their difference in magical abilities, she still aspires to be as strong as her mom is. Kogo also gets excited when seeing a mage with a type of magic she hasnât seen before/doesnât see often, and will likely ask MANY questions about it.
Kogo feels lucky to have Yasei, Victoria, and T-A by her side throughout her life. Theyâre some of the people who she holds most dear, and sheâd do anything to protect them.
Clair is Elementarâs Knight of Light, as well as a budding fashion designer. Sheâs a bubbly and peppy girl, acting as a ray of sunshine for the rest of the group. She gains inspiration from practically everything, and has designed things ranging from shirts and dresses to full suits of armor.
One thing thatâs obvious about Clair at first glance is that she sees practically EVERYONE as a potential friend. She was instantly friendly when meeting the other Knights, along with anyone she met in Elementar. If she hears of or witnesses someone doing something bad on purpose, though, sheâll do anything she can to stop them.
As the Knight of Light, she takes both a combat and support role. She has both physical and magical abilities, and also basic healing powers. Using these abilities along with her longsword, Clair works well on the front lines, though she can hang back if needed.
