Faera D'Angelo was raised with that mantra her whole life. And she needed it. Growing up in a rough part of town either wears you down or toughens you up. For Faera, it meant to toughen up. She never let her head hang low, stood up for others and took martial arts classes from a young age. But stubbornness can bite you in the ass faster than you realise, and for the young woman, it happened to be a problem too. When she got in trouble with the wrong people, her fighting skills got her roped into an underground fighting ring.
