“H-hng–”

“I know it hurts, but you have to keep walking. There’s a town just up ahead.”

The two had taken quite the beating during their last fight against a group of monsters, however Verity clearly had it worse. There were wounds and cuts all over her, while Zachary only had a few small cuts and grazes. If it hadn’t been for him, his half-sister would have been done for, for sure.

Verity was clearly struggling to keep walking, and Zachary had already allowed her to hold onto him as the two made their way to a town they were somewhat familiar with–Halure, specifically. They’d encountered it before during their travels, however they never got a proper chance to take a look around. It didn’t seem like that would be possible this time either.

Even as they arrived in Halure, they kept walking–they had to look for a doctor, after all. At first glance, it didn’t seem like there were any nearby, but Zachary refused to give up.

“With just a little bit of luck, we might be able to find a doctor somewhere around here. We just have to keep looking.”

“I know, but… It hurts- it hurts so much… I can barely walk.”

“I know that, but it’s not like we have much of a choice here.”

“Who’s hurt!?” She came rushing out of her house, first aid kit in hand. The experiences she had during her adventure had taught her that it’s better to properly treat wounds after a battle, rather than immediately healing it.

As for how she knew that people were hurt... well, the chatter outside had caught her attention, and Undine had let her know ahead of time. It was a good thing that she always had a first aid kit in hand, now.

Coming closer to the two, she glanced at the obvious wounds before opening up the kit. Need to clean the injuries first. “Where else are you two wounded?”
