Daily Tarot Wallpapers 🔮

So I just had this amazing idea and I had to share it to make you all smile 🥺 This step-by-step guide gives you a one card reading every day on your phone’s lock screen. This is great for those that can’t always pull out a deck, but still want to practice their craft in small ways every day.

Note: These steps are iPhone specific

Collect those images!! Find whatever deck you love or are inspired by. You could save just the major arcana, uprights, reversals, or even multiple styles of decks. There’s really no limit to what you can include.

Once you have your images, add them to their own special album! This will create a pool that your phone will pull from.

Create a wallpaper shortcut. Using the shortcuts app, have the photos app find photos from your tarot album. Set it to get 1 random item each time. Then, add set wallpaper as the second step. Adjust the settings to determine if you want both the home screen and lock screen to change. Make sure you have preview turned off. Name the shortcut so you can select it for the next step!

Set an automation. Go to the automation tab in the shortcuts app. Choose when you want you wallpaper to change! This could be daily, weekly, at sunrise, sunset, or at a specific time each day. Once you select when, add the shortcut you just created to that automation. Turn off ask before running, so that it will change automatically.

Bonus: Repeat steps 1-4 with another photo album and different automation settings to switch out different types of wallpapers! This could even be good for sigils. The possibilities are endless 💞
