This past holiday season, Ran had the chance to feed Myrtle the Turtle, a 90+-year-old green sea turtle. It has been the best holiday gift ever. We learned that Myrtle prefers cucumbers to other vegetables, and that she also enjoys small fish. She can be a bit picky about lettuce or cabbage, but it works if you rub them with foods she likes.

The animal care staff told us that she remembers everyone who has ever fed her. While we wouldn't expect too much, it would truly be an honor to be remembered by such a gentle old soul. We are deeply grateful for this opportunity, and we wish Myrtle all the best. 🍀
