My answer, relevant at the time as I was still one of your followers, was that I’m not interested in any gay-to-straight conversion stories, and then I laid out why.

You’re free to ignore my feedback, of course – doubly so now that I no longer follow you. Nonetheless, I did answer the question you posed. You can claim you were no longer talking about an ex-gay fantasy by the time you got to the bottom, but since you’d started with the premise that it would be one, I had no reason to reach such a conclusion. I was, therefore, categorically uninterested regardless of length, setting or the species of some of the characters. I’m disheartened by people fetishizing homophobia. I use the title fag quite frequently, but that’s a case of a term being actively reclaimed.

Earlier today, I responded to the above ^^ post, which, as you read, is more intently focused on the irrelevant issue of Bisexual erasure, and less on the actual topic I brought up at hand. Originally, I asked him to “not go off-topic”, but I don’t think that was all that productive.

On the other hand, his post does come off as a bit slanderous, as some  might be mislead to actually think I don’t consider bisexuals (like myself). With that, I do feel I should at least address the points being brought up by GoldStarGone here.

For those who don’t know what bisexual erasure is, it's an issue of double discrimination that bi's have to often face from people gay and straight alike. They are discriminated for their homosexuality by straight people, while their heterosexual side is likewise considered a sham by gay people, who may often consider said-bisexuals “actually gay, but not completely out”. You know, in the same way that, heh, Asian-American gays/bi’s like me face double discrimination by white people and then also by gay people. (Caucasian gays find my Asian skin unattractive and often treat me like I don’t exist, while my Chinese community thinks that “gay” is a Western parasitic invention to corrupt society.)

I find GoldStarGone’s hastfully-formed conclusion to be neither accurate nor informative to the gays-exploring-bi-side community at large, for two reasons. The first is that he completely disregards the fact that those who take up the gay-to-straight/gay-to-bi/gay-to-pan phenomenon are those gays who have 

1 - learned to integrate their sexual orientation as being a part of their own selves, without needing to ‘have pride’ in order to accept themselves (The “synthesis” level of Cass’s Identity Model)

2 - become accepting of the full spectrum of sexuality.
