"A river a thousand paces wide is nonsensical, much like me" (lets say they went out for drinks and Fairah is slightly tipsy?!)
(Sure. Haha)
Edward and Fairah had gone out for drinks, but he wasnât much of a drinker himself. Fairah, however, was apparently, since she was slightly tipsy and speaking nonsense. He raised his perfect eyebrow in amusement, a smirk playing at his lips as she finished her sentence. âWhat on earth? I understood none of that.â
Fairah stared blankly at Edward, she couldnât really focus on his face, everything was a little swirly. âWhat did I say?â She asked Fairah had to admit that she probably drank a little to much. Normally she would be fine but she went right for the hard stuff right off the bat this time.
âSomething about a river being nonsensical, jusf like you?â Edward answered her question with his own question, unsure about what that statement meant. It was enough to make him wonder though, and part of his mind focused on the statement and the other simply refused to even acknowledge itâs presence. âI think youâve had enough for now.â
âBut were not by a river!â Fairah exclaimed. She had confused her self in her drunken mess. When Edward said that she had enough to drink she agreed. Usually when Fairah drank she drank till she passed out but since she was with someone she thought it would be best to stay conscious.
âYeah, clearly thatâs a sign to stop drinking.â He reiterated, and grabbed the drink from her, dumping it out before he placed the glass back on the table. Edward then folded his hands, his elbows on the table. âHow about we get out of here and do something a bit more productive?â He asked her, leaning back in his chair and grinned.
Fairah watched Edward as he dumped out her drink. She was too far gone to really think about anything other than cats, she hated cats. Fairah made a confused face because she didn't know why she was thinking about cats since she hated them. She broke from her odd thoughts because Edward spoke again, "Whatever you say captain!" she exclaimed as she saluted him.
