"Fairtrade is precious to me... Fairtrade paid for my school fees."  Rebecca’s ambition is to be an engineer or an electrician. It’s not an impossible dream because she was able to continue her education into secondary school scholarship through Fairtrade. She is now employed at the Fairtrade certified Satemwa Tea Factory. "I chose Satemwa because it was one of the companies that takes care of its employees. There are good working conditions protective equipment. Hidayah is a member of the KBQB organic coffee cooperative. She farms 1.2 acres of coffee. During the coffee harvest, she helps occasionally on other farms, but she likes to focus more on farming. “I dream to be prosperous and that life is not too hard for me and my family. Therefore I need support to make my work in my own coffee garden easier.”
