Looking For Storytellers!

HEY THERE!

The Sigwa Tribe and friends are looking for more people to tell stories and share in their oral traditions! Every Monday we host a Story Circle and invite folks out to tell stories that they might have heard as a child or around a campfire. Histories and myths alike are welcome at this weekly event!

Currently we are still on the hunt for folks who are interested in sharing their tales of myth and adventure. While the story event is hosted by Miqo’te there is no required race to tell a tale. Be you from a tribe, a noble family, or just a camp outside of Ul’dah there are always stories that we tell around campfires.

Maybe there are bedtime stories you tell to your children? Perhaps you have tales of warning? What are the inspiring heroes of your family or tribe? What of the origin stories your people might have had for things? All are welcome!

Calling all tribal elders, family historians, and bards of all caliber and walks of life! Join us every Monday night at 6pm CST for a night of story telling and merry making!

The Sigwa Tribe invite any and all to come and share their tribal stories, origin myths, family legacies, house legends, and all manner of tall tales with the public. Player tailored stories and repurposed legends are all welcome! We want to give folks a platform to tell their histories and keep the oral traditions alive.

Two women laid in a bed much too small to share, but neither cared. One was resting, the fitful calls in her sleep silenced by arms and a warm presence. Livia tumbled down into a deeper sleep, one that her mind and body sorely needed. It was heartening to see, to watch as the flutter of eyelids came to still and breaths even out. Slender hands smoothed tangled hair, their skin for once exposed. Tattoos of arcane and intricate weave showed themselves, laid on skin both whole and scarred. The sight of her burnt hand on Livia’s cheek sent the mage into a pause, pale eyes squeezing shut. Reinette had to hug her wife close, face buried into familiar muscles to try and ground herself. She couldn’t. Her mind tumbled a hundred places at once.

Oh, how she clung to the present, but fire roared in her mind –

Amazingly, the song’s name had nothing to do with it. Livia likes to travel! Seeing new places, and learning other cultures is something she is keenly interested in doing. But for her, the journey is just as important. Something I try hard to maintain with songs for Livia is an underlying sense of optimism, and sometimes wonder. She loves the world very much, and seeing it in all of its grandeur is a part of life that she treasures dearly.
