Under the cut is some information about me and the stories here:
~Stories in progress~
Glitnir’s Hall: A comic. A member of a winged race is on the run but ends up getting snowed into a mountain pass. While he waits, he’s trapped with the mountain giant regent (who has a fascination for winged people), and a child from the cannibalistic trolls.
Rebel Princess: A comic. A prologue to Glitnir’s Hall (but both can be read as a stand-alone story). A group of felons are taken to the city of the giants as part of a trade agreement to have their sentences reduced; but one felon, the Rebel Princess, notices one of the Giant children has a useful talent.
~Story Prompts for myself~
(These are stories that I'm working on but have very little/nothing to publicly show for it yet)
The Sacrifice: In a secluded village in the countryside, the government has made peace with the local monster - by feeding it once a month. Names are drawn via a randomized lottery system, and every full moon, one person has to walk alone into the woods to be eaten so the village can survive.
Grandma's Hamster: After their grandmother passes away, the grandchildren take her hamster cage home with them. But that's not a hamster inside.
Watcher on the Wall: A suspenseful story about a member of the night watch. Every dusk, the town closes the gates, and it's punishable by death to open them before dawn. No one will admit the reason, because every grown man knows there's no such thing as monsters. But the night watchman knows. He stares out at the trees every night, and very often, he thinks something lonely is watching him back.
