Carter absent mindedly followed along, “Maybe I will,” the boy said quiet as a mouse.
“Awesome.” Avery didn’t really like eating alone so he was glad that the younger boy. “What’s your name?” Avery asked when he noticed the other following behind.

“Hey Ave,” she said unfazed by the switch. Thanks to their friendship going back years it was no longer surprising to see Avery switch from fairy form to human. “I’m pretty sure it’s by the games,”
Avery spun around toward the familiar voice. “Juliette, hey.” Avery smiled over the redhead. “Really? Got ya.” He really didn’t want to eat alone and he didn’t know where the games were. “Where are the games?”

Aaron grinned, “Welcome, but we should get going, funnel cake is very popular and might be gone by the time we get there.”
Aaron was probably right. “You don’t have to tell me twice. Do you know where there are? I haven’t gotten the layout of the carnival yet.” Avery was ready to follow Aaron.

When Avery listens to music he always has a pair headphones on. It’s always on full blast. But never too loud that other people are can hear. When he listens to his music, it is a special time for him. It’s a time to for him to think. When he listens to each song he likes to appreciate each and every part of the song. He isn’t very musical himself. But he’ll hum from time to time. They type of music he listens to differs from each time. He has a couple of playlists he chooses from.

Khuno immediately turned his head at the words he heard. “There are funnel cakes here?” he asked in eager excitement as he rushed over to the fairy boy.
“That’s what I heard. I also heard Princess Tiana is the one running it, so you know there going to be amazing. I just don’t know where it is.” Avery scanned the immediate area.

Zach looked over at him in mild shock. “Wouldn’t you rather have a real doughnut?” he asked in confusion.
The thought of a real doughnut sounded amazing. He could go for a nice dozen. “Yes. But with a real doughnut, I wouldn’t be able to cuddle it like I would what that thing. I would if I was small, but it would get too messy.”

“Thanks for the offer, but I try to keep up my kid friendly image, even at school.” Myrick said, taking a so if the sofa he had gotten from a vending machine.
“Couldn’t blame you. Me on the other hand, I lost that image a couple of years back.” Avery was quick to bring back a small cup. After taking a sip, he spat it out. “Never mind about that. Where did you get that soda?”

Carter looked in amazement before getting out his notebook, ‘That was so cool!’ He pointed to his left to answer the question.
“Hey, thanks. ” Avery followed the direction the other was pointing. “You should get one when you get the chance. I hear Tiana is making them.”

“What a coincidence, that’s where I’m heading,” Aaron said, beckoning the other to follow him, “That was a cool trick right there.”
“Ha!” Avery clapped his hands in excitement. “Awesome. I’ve been craving one all day. Dude, I hope they have strawberries on them.” He followed the other. “Thanks. I usually like to keep my wings out but my legs need some exercise today.”

“That’s a really stupid idea,” Myrick stated as someone tried to spike the punch. “Unless you’re looking to get expelled.”
“And just when I thought I could enjoy some normal punch today.” Avery was indifferent about the spiked punch situation. “Well if you can’t beat them, join them. You want a cup?” He turned to his roommate.

“Which stuffed animal do you want?” he asked the person next to him as he tried to analyze his shot for the ring toss.
Avery rubbed his chin thinking. He looked over his options hanging at the game stand. His eyes landed on a giant donut in the corner. “Over there. That one. Dude, that donut is awesome.” He pointed at the prize.
The young fairy’s wings fluttered a mile a minute as the six inch fairy flew across campus. He could already taste the sweet funnel cake he had been craving since he heard the news. Arriving at the court yard which the carnival was set up in, Avery switched back to his six foot height and hiding his wings away. “Now where is the funnel cake stand?”

Zakariah stared at the cup of hot chocolate he had been given worriedly, “You didn’t poison this, right?”
“Poison?” Avery felt offended by the other’s accusation. “That’s a big extreme wouldn’t you think?” Avery took a seat across from the other boy. He took had a cup of hot chocolate. “Nah, it’s just regular hot coco. Or whatever cheap stuff the cafeteria was giving out for free.”

“Oh my gosh,” Anna gasped as she accidentally dropped her drink off the balcony, turning quickly around so the passers-by below wouldn’t see who dropped it. As a voice screamed when her water hit the ground, her cheeks turned pink and she looked at the person beside her before giggling. “Oops? At least it was only water.”
The young blond couldn’t hold back laughter watching the person below getting drenched. “Aw, that sucks for them.” Avery leaned over the balcony trying to get a look at the poor student. He pulled back over and turned to the girl there with him. “But that was hilarious. I’d hate to be them right now.”

“We’ve been friends for how long? Trust me I know.” She joked looking up at the boy. Looking around her all she could do was smile. It was beautiful almost to the point where she had no words. “I think it’s beautiful Avery,” She said gently running her hand along petal of a flower before turning back to Avery. “I love it.”
‘I knew you would. You’re the only person I know who could appreciate it.” Avery glanced over from the garden to his friend. He’d put in a good couple of hours out here, tending to the plants. It was good to hear his work paid off. “I’ve been trying to grow a pixie dust tree here. No luck so far. So much for my plan for endless dust.”

Staring at him, she couldn’t help but laugh. “Black tea? Really? What are you, an eighty year old woman?” Bella asked, practically doubled over in laughter. She was always rather proud of her comebacks.
“I am not ashamed.” Avery slide onto the table, resting the side of his face on the surface. “Are you just here to laugh or help me?”
