TVL is definitely gonna take me some time to get used to ha! I went into it fully knowing it would be a different show but it’s still so strange to see our beloved characters in such a different setting.

I do love (and hate) Lestat’s messy storytelling in the first ep. I think it does suit the character and the situation. It’s infuriating to follow, which imo is the point. Especially since Louis (and by extension Armand) tell the story slowly and sensually, truly “letting the tale seduce you”. Lestat is telling the tale like he’s a youtube makeup guru circa 2018.

I’ve really enjoyed the marketing, the self awareness, the humor. And from what I’ve heard it seems to be very true to the book so far? (the vibe shift at least and references)

I do feel (and kinda hope) that it gets darker from here. Especially with miss bob being already introduced in the first episode. 👀 (I know stuff about the books but haven’t read them)

I’m excited! (although my dm heart is gnawing at the iron bars of my enclosure)

I’m struggling with my new laptop because it doesn’t seem to recognize my drawing pad so if anyone has any advice on a newer laptop not recognizing an older wacom tablet (one with a usb) I’ll gladly hear any advice !!
