fyi if we’re mutuals you have full consent to be as feral as you want in asks and dms
You don't need a "WIFE". What you NEED is a beautiful priestess of the old religion to lead you down a dark path.
Send "Do you trust me?" to see if my muse trusts yours, and just how much if so.
𝐓𝐔𝐌𝐁𝐋𝐑 𝐓𝐄𝐗𝐓 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐒 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐓𝐒 𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓 (a collection of prompts from text posts I saved. Feel free to adjust phrasing and gendered terms as necessary)
“You’re such an idiot. I will literally kiss you on the mouth.”
“ARE YOU FUCKING STUPID???”
“Not evil anymore, I want to be loved now.”
“Babygirl, you are awkward and do not understand social cues.”
“Sorry about being mentally ill, the sex will be bomb though.”
“What if my best self is a cunt that can’t wake up before noon?”
“They’ve got something gay going on.”
“I’m the nicest, sweetest, most rage-filled person I know.”
“I couldn’t fix him. But I could fuck him.”
“I am a generator of hate, and my rage is a renewable resource, like sunshine.”
“If you ever feel stupid or weak or powerless, just remember that I, am not.“
“I’m not interested in being polite or heterosexual.”
“You’re talking mad shit for a guy within kissing distance.”
“I’m sorry I’m hot and funny. Are you mad at me?”
“You make a lot of threats for someone who is short and can’t even do a push-up.”
“My fear of abandonment is so strong, because if I could I would abandon myself too.”
“Your first kill together as a couple is an important relationship milestone.”
“My kink? Knowing all the information.”
“I think Aristotle said that.”
“The Universe has a sense of humor and I can respect the commitment to the bit but, girl, please.”
“Vulnerability is so hard. If I told you anything sappy know that I had a hand to hand combat with seven layers of embarrassment and repression.”
“Please don’t say mean things to me.”
“My hobbies include knowing and being right.”
“I told you a joke and you’re laughing. I love you.”
“I’m covered in blood for sexy reasons. Also I just got stabbed.”
“I don’t identify as “male” or “female”, I identify as a warning.”
“I’ve made a huge mistake.”
“First of all, I didn’t “miss” the red flags. I looked at them and thought: yeah, that’s sexy.”
“I could recognize him by tits alone.”
“I hate when people ask me what sign I am. Like, bitch, I am a sign from God. Start running.”
“Can someone please be proud of me? Like fuck, I’m trying.”

“I don’t think you’re capable of that Megara, but even if you did I’d love you all the same.”
Slowly she shifted to reposition the child on her lap, carding fingers through her hair ever so gently. “I won’t regret it, I don’t think there’s anything you can even do to make me regret it. You may end up frustrating me a little sometimes, or making me worry, but that’s what children do, and it wouldn’t make me regret anything.”
Rocking the girl gently she smiled, kissing her on the forehead. “what do you say? Would you like to go with me? Or are you not quite ready yet?”
“Why… why would you love me, if I disappointed you?”
This didn’t make sense. All she had ever learned about affection seemed to imply that it was offered based on conditions. Now, Tophel had been fairly clear that it wasn’t like that with her… but Meg remained skeptical. She’d only ever known the give and take, the ‘fair trade’.
Instead, this mother figure suggested that there were NO conditions. Only love. The little demon sniffled again, closing her eyes and trying to be brave.
“I…I wanna go, but I’m scared.”
A soft smile crossed the demon’s face as she began work on a spell, the braids capturing the energy she wove into them. Protection, and hiding, something to cover the tracking spell until she could be sure that it was entirely removed. “Then so it shall be. Your father will never find you, no matter how hard he looks, and you will always be safe. That is the way it should be.” As if suddenly thinking of something, Phel pulled a small sheathed dagger from her belt, offering it to the child. “If you ever don’t feel safe, this will help protect you. But I will do my best to make sure you never need it, I promise.”
"You like being in charge, don't you?" -Nemesis (Faithsreward)
Politician Sentences, Vol. 11
Before Nemesis can finish speaking, the Archangel's body language changes in the blink of an eye, and how she feels about this question becomes pretty clear. With one leg crossed over the other and pale fingers clasped tight over her kneecap, Azrael stiffens in her chair, silver eyes tracking Nemesis like a predator in the dark. Perhaps correctly, she interprets this inquiry as an attempt to find out what makes her tick, to analyze and study her as one studies cells under a microscope. It's an invasion, a threat. Not only that, but it is the assumption itself that Azrael takes exception to.
"Enlighten me as to why you believe that to be the case," Azrael responds, voice sharp like a razor.
Most people would back-pedal when faced with an irritated Archangel, especially Azrael, but Nemesis was not most people, and she didn't back down from much. Besides, it simply made the Archangel more breathtaking, the way her voice cut as surely as any knife.
"You seem too competent to follow the orders of fools, or to let those without the proper experience lead people to their graves."
The goddess met Azrael's stare, poison-green eyes looking into silver, seeking to understand how time has changed the Archangel from the weapon she had once been, into the person she was now. "Perhaps in charge is the wrong way to put it. In control may be more apt. Not a pawn, or mere soldier, but able to choose when to draw your sword, and when to stay your hand."
“Can someone please be proud of me? Like fuck, I’m trying.” Annoyed ! Dark Mikkah to anyone , dominion verse.
"Proud of you for what? I mean personally I'm impressed with how close you've managed to get to my genocidal sibling, but no one should be looking for my approval…well no one human"

The world exists in a haze, a blurred mass of colors and shapes that run and bleed one into the next - images that are translucent and opaque twist into a warped version of reality and disillusionment and she is just cognizant enough to know that neither, that none of it is right, and as it should be. Her body burns and throbs with fever, and pain, and an icy numbness in the pit of her stomach that traces through her veins, an agonizing contrast to the sting of blood flowing through muscles and skin, raw and tender to the touch of itself, of cloth, air, breath –
If being alive is suffering, and suffering is proof of life, then she is the most alive that she has ever been, and would wish for nothing more than to have no part of it.
Her pulse thrums, a tangible pull in and out of her heart, she drowns in it, she suffocates in it, the pressure of it in her chest, the sting of salt water in her lungs, in her throat, in her nose. She can taste it, and taste the blood in the bath water, and neither of these things are true, but they are, and she knows both and all of these realities, and none of them.
Fingers clutch, tangle, cling with a shocking amount of strength, given her precarious and tenuous hold on life, clenching against the hand that finds hers – tangible, proof of life, proof of reason and reality. A touch, given in kindness, and care, and she can feel the seep of tears against her cheeks, her temples. She knows this touch, the feel of it, she knows this voice, the sound of it, she’s heard it in her dreams. “You found me.” These words, among a myriad of others that are mumbled, half formed, fever dreams. These are the ones that matter to her, and she struggles to make them heard, to make them sensical. “You found me.” Colors, and sounds, and sensations fade, eventually, into a soothing and blessedly dark and empty sleep.
That vise-grip reached past Phel's hand and straight to her heart, familiarity hitting like a bolt of lightning. She had felt that desperation before, and could scarcely believe that she had actually stumbled upon the young woman who's soul she had brushed against all those years ago.
"My dreamer." How small and vulnerable the woman looked like this, pain hiding an absolutely gorgeous soul, one afflicted with more sight than most could ever comprehend. "It's been so long."
Now that she knew what to look for, free from the interference of death and the warping of the border between realms, Phel could trace along the young woman's past, following it back to the point where their energies had met. Of all the points in the world, of all the places to drown, they had shared it, lungs taking in the same water, thought centuries apart.
"Rest now, you're safe. I won't let anyone hurt you." Once the young woman drifted off to sleep Phel could focus on the records, idly stroking Reese's hair with her free hand as she did so.
It took more effort than Phel wanted to admit to keep her skin from heating up as she looked through Reese's past, tracing out to find the locations of people who had hurt her. Those people would have to be dealt with… though that would need to wait until the girl was trained. Clearly she had some form of Sight, that much was clear, and without training it was almost certainly overwhelming.
Phel didn't leave Reese's side as she slept, not wanting to have her wake up alone. Instead the fallen did her best to clean her up, a bowl of cool water and a cloth helping wipe off the sweat that had dripped from her brow. Hopefully Reese could hear the soft whispers of song, even as she slept, ancient lullabies to speed healing and offer a peaceful rest.

Akriel's hackles raised as their gold irises burn. Their teeth were still stained, with the fresh kill lingering at their feet. Although they understand their words, it brought little comfort. "… Not like the rest." Speech doesn't come easily to the fledging. It's punctuated with awkward pauses and a slight hesitation that caused a whine to build in their throat. Of course, they've seen them, the other angels. So why do they look like this? Akriel's form is shrouded with black fur, with a mouth so sharp it could gut you. Black wings instead of white or a downy brown. Thick nub horns spiralled against their skull and a mouth where their stomach should be. Not graceful, or particularly innocuous, more bestial than the rest…
Their paws track in the dirt, carving out thin lines. Yet… They felt the same energy, the same sort of connection that signalled one species from the other. " Home is here. Safe."
"Neither do I. It's not as obvious, but it's there." Faith unfurled her wings, even at their fullest extension the limbs not spanning more than two feet in total. As for colour, well no angel she knew of had a red that was far too reminiscent of blood.
Tucking her wings away the young angel sat down on the ground, trusting that the other would not harm her, and hoping it would make her appear non-threatening.
"I don't want to take your home from you, or your safety, just to offer a little companionship, if you want it. I can also show you how to cook, a little at least, unless if you prefer things to be raw."
@faithsreward liked for a bg3 durge starter.
The makeshift tents that had been set up around the camp were, while hardly peak luxury, suitable enough -- and she was more grateful than she might like to admit for the first moments of privacy she'd had in the last two days that had been filled with chaos, blood, and more than a few shocks to the system. Coming to grips with the fact that her past was a mystery had been a hurdle on its' own. Adding in the potential impending doom of the illithid's worm in her brain, and the seemingly neverending troubles that this neck of the woods they'd crash landed into seemed filled with, she'd hardly had time to breathe, much less think.
Of course, now that she could, she wasn't sure what it was, exactly, that she'd hoped to achieve. What fragmented memories she'd managed to pull from the scrambled void that was her mind had been filled with blood, bodies, and pain ... and she had to wonder why -- not just why, those memories, those sensations, but why they brought with them a feeling of satisfaction, of ... pleasure. Surely that wasn't .... normal? What was normal?
Certainly, none of the companions she'd somehow collected along the way were the norm for their peers, were they? A guilt ridden vampire spawn, a skittish cleric, a malfunctioning literally power hungry wizard, the tragic would be hero bound to a demon, an escapee of hell itself with half a heart ? The taciturn githyanki seemed to be the only one that wasn't without some fatal flaw, and perhaps that was simply because she was better at hiding it than the others.
Perhaps she was in exactly the company she needed to be.
She stared into the reflection, the mirror pilfered from the spawn's tent (he didn't have any actual need for it, he wouldn't notice it was gone before she returned it), fingertips tracing the lines and bends of the scars that split her lips, chin, throat. They were only some of the scars that she'd discovered, all precise, sharp, intended, all of the same depth and age. What had they meant?
What did they mean, still?
A flicker of movement catches her attention in the mirror, a wisp of something, crimson, black, a prickle of magic that seemed to tug familiar at the nape of her neck, and she is on her feet, dagger in hand, the razor sharp blade extended out towards the shape that forms from shadow and darkness into flesh. "One step more and I'll carve a new smile into that pretty flesh of yours." The threat is sharp, and short, a sign of just how on edge she has been since regaining consciousness on the illithid ship, but the blade and her words are steady.
"Is that a promise Risa? It's been so long since I last opened a vein for you."
It had been easy to get here, once she had gotten a glimpse of where her acolyte was. Stepping through the space between space came naturally to her, not like the clumsy spells that most mortals relied on, and the mirror gave a perfect focus. It was silent and almost undetectable… though not to someone she had poured so much power into. Training was hard for a reason, and even now Phel could not argue with the results.
Instead of approaching she leaned against the wall, not bothering with a glamour. They never mattered much when Clarissa was involved, and it would do no good to add that haze to her acolyte's Sight.
Hellfire-tinted eyes took in the woman's form, taking in the changes that had been forced upon her. Marks of torture, some attempting to destroy the runes… not that Phel had allowed that. The only person who could truly obscure those was Clarissa herself, Phel would not let anyone else destroy the signs of their connection. With a wave of her hand the runes sparked to life, glowing with hellfire for a split second before the heat faded away, leaving no sign of what had been there.
"Memory does not affect pacts my fierce little acolyte. They are written into one's very essence. Even had you not carved your devotion onto your skin, it is unmistakable."
Not that Phel was planning to insist on worship, or on attempting to renegotiate the pact in her favour. Not when they already had such a comfortable arrangement, the sort that could easily last for millennia. "I'd say I was hurt, but what use is a demon who only shows up when the torture's all done.”
It would be nice to just be able to outright say things, not dance around meanings by using double-speak and half-truths, but that was always how these plans had to be put into motion. Demon lord versus god, a game played with manipulations and mortal pawns, ones who would bleed and suffer, all for a prize that may not be reached until centuries after the mortals have long since expired.
The young woman spun sharply on her heel, a gasp escaping as she whirled around towards the source of the voice inside of what had been a long abandoned tiny chapel on the edge of the cemetery's grounds, a reactive gesture made to cross herself as her attention came to focus on the ... woman? that had seemed to come out of nowhere, out of nothing, but the shadows. Hellfire? A sharp swallow follows, as she resisted her initial reaction to bolt.
The stranger seemed solid -- which wasn't exactly common, for the apparitions that often showed themselves to her, but there was something about the image that appeared to flicker, like there was a shadow of a frame, of another shape, or form, that danced around, and above her, and her facial features flickered like the pages of a stop motion flip book, between darkly beautiful and something -- something filled with shadows, and painfully sharp contours, and something hollow. "What -- did you say -- " Hellfire? "Rude?"
Phel couldn't resist the urge to chuckle, copying the girl's motions with a painted fingernail, one that would appear clawed with every flicker that the psychic was clearly seeing. "It's not generally considered polite to call people evil, or to make that sign when you see them. Us damned have feelings too you know."
Not that something this minor would cause her any kind of distress, but her grandchild, well that was an entirely different story. The kid was sensitive, and enjoyed playing in places just like this. "Not that I'm particularly bothered, but my little one would be, and we've been making so much progress. I'd hate for her to have a setback."
OPEN STARTER. / young lorraine.
"There's something ...." She hesitated - it felt almost wrong to use a word as strong as the one that hovered on the tip of her tongue, especially when she was still struggling to understand the things she saw, the things she felt. "Evil in this place."
"One, rude, two, that'd probably be me. Been going a little heavy on the hellfire. Aura tends to stick around." Or it could have been the blood she'd just finished washing off, one or the other. Not that her whole deal tended to be particularly comforting to sensitives, especially not ones with more religious leanings.

"You never really know anyone in this trade."
"Are you asking me a question, or are you accusing me of something?"
"You used me."
"I'll give you information about my missions, about my tradecraft, but nothing about the people I work with."
"If you have something to offer, now would be the time."
"For what it's worth, it was not my decision to keep this from you."
"Did he offer you money to spy on me?"

"When you're two people at the same time, one of them is bound to trip the other."
"If you worked for me, things would be easier."
"You always prove to be more resourceful than I give you credit for."
"Was it worth it? Compromising yourself for money?"
"If I can find you, then they can find you."
"In this game, the skill one must have above all else is patience."
"Why did you do it? Betray your country?"
"In the case of a mole, no one should be above suspicion."

"Nobody is untouchable."

"You have to keep up appearances."
"The people I work with are loyal to the end. Can you say the same?"

"Why wouldn't I? Do I really seem that shallow? That I'd cast aside something wonderful simply because it didn't do exactly what I told it to? Only an idiot would do that.”
Phel began braiding a little of the girl’s hair, just like she did with Kara when the little abomination was scared. “I know, change can be the scariest thing of all, but I promise to keep you safe from it. After all, it would be my duty, and I am not about to fail one of my little ones, not if I can do anything about it.”
"...no, you seem different. Different than Father, and the other grown ups. But that's why I'm scared." Meg murmured, though she sat still, leaning in a little as she felt Phel's fingers carding through her hair, and braiding it.
"You... you really want me to be one of your little ones? Part of the family?" Her eyes opened again, suddenly rounder, and hopeful.
"That's good, you're clever, you know that sometimes people lie. But I promise you that I am not, not about this. Not to one of mine."
Already Meg was looking a like one of her little ones, the braids the same pattern she had placed in the hair of so many of her children.
"I would love nothing more than for you to be one of mine. One of my little girls, someone to care for and love."
Hands clench and unclench around the wad of cloth he's holding. Except, it's not a random rag. It's an apron. Navy blue with daisy bordering that Louis wore, daily. Teased him that it looked strange, once. Hustle and bustle of the markets do little to distract.
Missing him. Missing his smile. His laughter. The ringing of the register while waiting is a distant memory, fingers tap-tapping buttons. Casual small-talk about new life in the community, recipes, even Saviorism. Half-remembered sermons. The taste of cherry pie, burnt around the edges.

At home, that green-washed apartment with shelves of canned goods, was quiet. Too quiet, even for him. On the entryway table lay a stack of half-unwrapped letters. An Archangel Corps member had delivered them, uttering a single 'sorry'. Should probably get to those sometime soon.
But he didn't want to. Not now, not yet. Above the city, overcast quickly turns dark. Storms rolling in from the coast. Heavy with rain.
Should he close up? Close early? No, let it downpour. Maybe it'd help to hide his tears.
The moment the clouds broke humans went scurrying for cover, but Fai was not about to join them in the warmth.
Instead she found herself at the fruit stand, drawn by emotions she knew far better than she would like to admit. Mourning, enough to drown in, as well as that empty feeling that came with loss.
"I brought you tea" the steaming mug was more of a peace offering than anything else, or at least an attempt to open up a conversation with someone she didn't know nearly as well as she would have liked.
