like, Oliver is his and he will pout and seethe if Ollie gives his sister or Farleigh even an ounce more of attention than he gives him

he and Ollie are at a party and he’s pressing himself against Oliver’s back and wrapping an arm around his best friend’s shoulders, keeping him pinned against his chest so he can’t move (as if Oliver ever would)

or they’re laying naked in the field and Oliver stands to get a drink or something but suddenly he can’t move because Felix’s hand is wrapped around his ankle, looking up at him over his sunglasses with big brown eyes, asking him, ‘where are you going?’

maybe Oliver spills some soup on his shirt during lunch at school so Felix all but jumps at the idea of dragging his best mate to his dorm and giving him one of his shirts to wear, even though it’s way too big for him, because he loves the idea of Ollie wearing his clothes

the two of them falling asleep drunk in Oliver’s dorm and Felix is wrapped around Oliver so tight, has him held tightly against his chest because Oliver is his best friend and his to cuddle and no one else can

This image is so important to me!!! I love this Felix. His gigantic eggshell sweater vest hanging over his crisp white button down. His messy hair just slightly longer than Elspeth would prefer it. His open smile. His silly stylized little drawing etched into his sketch pad. Elspeth and James had him working with a private art tutor from the time he could articulate that he liked drawing and this is the end result but it's fine bc he's happy and he doesn't need to draw seriously or do anything seriously because he's 19 and he has this long, charmed life that's supposedly stretched out in front of him. Wearing his silly charity bracelets, "hey it's for a good cause maybe you'll find one some day" he'll say to anyone who chides him but they don't because he's Felix and he can make a friend anywhere (at least that's what Elspeth always says). Designer loafers with no socks and jeans that are just barely long enough to hide bony ankles. His messy room littered with wrinkled posters and empty cans of pop that glint in the sunlight anxiously awaiting his return.

Barely grasping at adulthood. Everything in front of him, easily accessible and just coming within reach. I don't want to forget about this Felix. Dog-eared pages, slightly stale soda baby, the smell of wrinkled linen under a hot iron. Vibrant blue bedframe with white sheets in a red room. Puffy stickers. Slight overbite.
