I haven’t really slept in the past 19 months…. My youngest turns 3 this month as if he wasn’t my sweet newborn yesterday. Time is not slowing down for me or for them, probably not for anyone, but it feels like I’m being punished the most. My husband is now infertile, mostly due to his radiation treatments but I’m sure his age is partly to blame as well. I feel decrepit. It all has me wondering, is this really as good as it gets? Did the peak already happen and I somehow missed it? Not that my boys aren’t enough. They’re everything to me, of course, but I am sad at the thought of never having a daughter. My mind truly never shuts off. I. Am. Exhausted.
