The first half of my day: a drag. The weather was beautiful outside. I had work and a nagging task list. I wanted nothing more than to be under the sun and blue sky… not a bad day, just what it was. Recovering from mid-week exhaustion. I logged off today and I am notttt checking anything.

Second half of day: Cardio at the gym. Long walk. Protein shake. Movie. Sleepy pill. Talks with Claude. Feeling like myself again. All the stress this week was taking me away from my essence even though it is simultaneously building me.

My ideal is definitely movement and nature and unbounded time for the brain… I love that it’s 12 and I don’t care when I need to go to sleep. I love a good business book but I need narrative. Fiction or true storytelling in whatever form. There is so much “real” in the world… brain can get saturated with that

Yes it’s a beautifully quiet Friday but Saturday brings casino and dancing with the girls.
