Falinge Park Railway Company would like to remind customers sending parcels by rail that they should be clearly addressed and postage paid to the correct amount. Please ensure fragile goods are clearly marked or we can take no responsibility for any damages incurred during transit. Parcels can be sent at any time of day from six thirty in the morning until five o’clock each evening. Please bring goods to the Mail Room on the Station Platform or arrange collection. We always welcome your custom.

The Ticket Office was rather quiet today and this allowed us the opportunity to re-sort the tickets in the sorting compartments. The staff even had time to catch up on parcel returns from customers who had not yet collected their goods from the station. The room was quite tidy at close of business today.

There were quite a few people gathered on the platform today as Fred Danby, the local entrepreneur, came to collect his latest asset; a brand new custom made sports car. The car was delivered via the rail and arrived in pristine condition as expected. The carriage sides were lowered and Fred even drove the vehicle off the platform himself at the daring speed of 10mph. Our staff ensured the station platform was cleared beforehand. We’re pretty convinced these auto-mobiles won’t catch on with the general public and the future lies with rails.
